Reviews
Except few kind people in there (the reception guys, one waitress in the restaurant) nothing is subject to appreciation!
The rooms are tiny with a very low ceiling. Zero sound proofing, You hear every single noise from the corridor, the neighbor room to the street tumult.
The bathroom is practical but small and very badly refurbished.
Cleaniness is average to good through the stay with daily fresh towels.
Small closet, so better keep most of your stuff in the cases.
The restaurant is small and as the rest of the hotel, is very old fashioned but as it is located on the 7th floor, you will have a 360° view of the city.
They offer only breakfast with varied menu for eastern meals mostly, served simply in dishes on tables (no stainless self service buffet)
Us having mostly French breakfast, had few cakes choice, scrambled and boiled eggs and the coffee machine that serves something that resembles to coffee, milk and latey.
There's a juice distributor but I wouldn't advise you to even taste any of the flavors, as that was not juice but kind of extremely sweet sirop!
In the morning, you are the one who takes the initiative to say good morning to the personnel as you will not hear any (I guess that's cultural), except from Muhammad the receptionist who was very kind and always ready to help despite the language barrier.
The small elevator is mostly busy or stuck at ine of the floors.
The location is quite good as it's 5 minutes to the Tramway station.
In brief, I do not recommand that hôtel for any stay, as for 60 Euro a night you can have far better than that.
I have stayed at this hotel several times, and my experience has always been positive. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is always kind, helpful, and attentive. We truly enjoy coming back here – the atmosphere is friendly and family-like, making us feel very welcome. We will definitely return again in the future.👌🍀👌
Once again, we had a fantastic stay here. The room was spotless every day, and great attention was given to cleanliness and comfort. The staff was always smiling, very helpful and friendly — it’s a pleasure to come here. We have stayed several times already and will definitely return, as we truly feel at home in this place.
Thank you for the warm welcome and your care! 💫🙏
The rooms are tiny and cramped. The beds are uncomfortable, and there’s barely any space to move around. After placing two suitcases, there was literally no room left to walk. The fridge, air conditioner, and TV in our room didn’t work at all. There was also no liquid soap provided for washing hands, which is unacceptable even for a three-star hotel.
Breakfast was another big disappointment — very poor selection, mostly just different kinds of cheese and stale bread and pastries. The coffee machine was terrible; the coffee came out completely watery.
Overall, we do not recommend this hotel. It does not meet even basic expectations for comfort, cleanliness, or hospitality.
