Marius Hotel in Istanbul

An excellent hotel for a reasonable price for this area. The location is very convenient, with all the sights within a 10-15 minute walk. The room is small, but we took the cheapest one overlooking the courtyard, with air conditioning and all the usual amenities of Turkish courtyards. Everything is modern, with constant hot water and good pressure, and towels changed daily, which isn't the case everywhere. Breakfast isn't very varied, but it's there. Good coffee and delicious waffles. Drinks like tea, coffee, and water are free 24/7. They decorated the room for my birthday, which was unexpected and very nice. They helped me buy tickets to the Basilica Cistern at reception, a big thank you to the staff. Everyone was very attentive and responsive to any requests. They offered to take a local taxi to the airport, but we decided to go on our own, as public transportation in Turkey is well developed, and all the stops are nearby. Overall, the hotel is superb, perfect for short trips (up to a week).

The buffet breakfast was delicious and very filling; I especially loved the dried figs and candied fruit.

3. The room was clean, tidy, and quiet. The air conditioning was warm enough that even with my feet sticking out at night, I didn't feel cold.

4. They even helped me call a taxi to the Cappadocia overnight bus station. They contacted the taxi company, arranged a specific car, and paid the driver in cash, avoiding the hassle of being scammed or overcharged by taxi drivers in Turkey.

5. Most importantly, the location is excellent. All the major attractions are within walking distance. After a long day of sightseeing, I was too tired to even wash up when I got back to the hotel. I can't imagine how tiring it would be to stay further away; travel really requires stamina.

6. They gave me Turkish tea, biscuits, and candy; I felt thoughtfully treated and very happy.

The stuff they are so kind and helpful. The room was clean. I really recommend this hotel

There is no problem except that the room is small and the breakfast is average. The main thing is that it is convenient for the ancient city and it is small but has everything.

The service staff was very enthusiastic, especially when we found that we had booked the wrong room type, they helped us to rebook the room type that we expected. Thank you!
It is recommended to order breakfast. Although there are not many varieties, it is definitely filling enough. Compared with the extremely expensive hotels in Istanbul, it is really a good deal!
The only thing is that the air conditioning in the room cannot be adjusted. Overall it is very comfortable!

Overall this was a great stay, super prime location, very close to everywhere you want to see, close to many restaurant, staffs were super nice and friendly, the only downside is that the wall seems a bit thin and window is probably single glazing, so noise is quite easily penetrate into your room, however an ear bud can solve this problem

Excellent hotel! The location is great, there is a tram stop, a metro stop, and Emina pier nearby. There are busy streets nearby, so it is not scary to walk in the evening, which was important when traveling alone. There is a transfer service to the hotel, not only taxis, but also minibuses.
The hotel is new from 2023, modern, stylish. I had a single room with a window overlooking the courtyard, the courtyard is large.
Cleaning every day, I was very pleased with the natural fiber washcloth.
Towels with a light pleasant aroma.
Breakfast from 8 to 10.30, different hot dishes every day, there is even soup. But what impressed me most was the freshly baked croissants and, if desired, waffles are baked in front of you.
The hotel left the most pleasant impressions.
