The staff was wonderful, hotel lovely and centrally located, and the terrace restaurant offers a spectacular view. Rooms are small and not special, but clean and comfortable. Including the wonderful Turkish breakfast makes it good value.

The location was good. The room great with amazing view.
The bed mattress was the best.
We used also the spa and it was refreshing.

Absolutely great value for money! They delivered on everything promised, and the location is superb. The view from the rooftop restaurant is also incredible. My only minor complaint is that the room and bed were a bit small.

Please note, this is at most a three-star hotel! Not five-star!
1. The hotel is located on an extremely dirty, chaotic hilltop in the old town, surrounded by landfills and abandoned buildings. The environment is incredibly messy and poor, and ride-sharing apps and taxis won't go there! Or they'll charge an exorbitant price to take a detour up. You'll have to drag your luggage up many steps on cobblestone paths.
2. Most rooms face abandoned buildings or a wall. Don't believe me? Try staying there yourself.
3. The only redeeming quality is the restaurant on the top floor, which has a decent view. But the quality of the breakfast is beyond words! It's so bad, I don't even know how to describe it!
4. The hotel's entrance is no more than 3 meters wide, with three-star facilities! The room is freezing cold, and the air conditioning is set to 15 degrees and cannot be adjusted. The bathroom wasn't properly cleaned and had an odor. The decor and facilities are what you'd expect from a backwater town. I don't know who had the audacity to call this five-star! Utterly ridiculous.
5. The authenticity of the reviews for this hotel is questionable! It's so bad that it's impossible for there to be no bad reviews. I don't know where those so-called good reviews come from, or what small favors they received. In short, open your eyes and avoid this place like the plague! Avoid!

Perfect location for everything we walked everywhere as the main attractions and bazaars were within 5 mins walking. Left was Hagia Sofia. Palace etc, right were bazaars...straight down was the sea. The hotel was lovely, and breakfast had everything I liked and more. The view from the top was amazing; you could see all across Istanbul.
Our room was very clean, and we even had soothing music in the bathroom, which was a really nice touch.
I gave 4 stars for amenities because although the hotel has a spa, I was really hoping for a hammam experience and unfortunately it was mixed. If they offered an hour or even part of the day for ladies only, this hotel would be an absolute winner.
One small downside was that our taxi couldn’t drop us off or pick us up directly outside the hotel, so we had to walk about 3 minutes.
That said, the area felt very safe we walked out at 10pm as two women and felt completely comfortable. There’s even a police station right opposite the hotel!
Overall, a great stay and I’d definitely recommend it.

Very helpful staff and great service. Location was close to Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque and walking to Galata Tower and Galataport was within 40 minutes.
