It was a great hotel located in the heart of Sultanahmet area, just next to Hagia Sophia and within walking distance to many other attractions such as the Blue Mosque. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms was a decent size for couples, clean and comfortable. The highlight of this hotel was the staffs, all of them, from the front desk and bellmen to housekeeping, were extremely friendly and super helpful. There was a Panaromic Restaurant with great views. Highly recommended.

We came here from the Netherlands and stayed for six days in the hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, even though we arrived in the middle of the night. Our luggage was brought to our rooms, which were clean and well prepared. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bathroom was spotless. Our towels were refreshed every single day.

The location is stunning — I literally had a view of the Hagia Sophia and the square. The hotel terrace has a restaurant where the food was also delicious, and we were taken care of even late at night.

There was also Ünal Abi, who was incredibly kind. Even when my boyfriend became sick, he took care of him and helped him with his medicine. A truly wonderful person!

Just look at the view in the photos below… I would have given them 12 stars if I could!

The AND Hotel was older & smaller than I thought or expected. But it's a lovely little quaint hotel; very cosy, breakfast was great, the service staff really very good 👍 I was pleasantly surprised. Best thing about this hotel - it's location! Hands down BEST location! Literally right next to the Hagia Sophia; so close just 1-2 mins walk but I was lucky enough to have a spectacular view of Hagia Sophia etc right from my very own hotel room window! Also surrounded by great little shops, cafes & restaurants & tram line just outside. I would come back & stay here again 👍😊👌

The hotel was in a great location. Taxis cant directly drop us off at the hotel because it is located in what it seemed like a street for walking only. But it’s not that far from the closest drop off - probably a minute walk. The hotel is also close to restaurants so that was good! The hotel itself is old. We booked through Agoda and although our booking included our 4 year old son, the receptionist said it only showed 2 adults. Our room was small but we didn’t mind. What we did mind was that the hotel changed into heating and our room was hot on our last two nights. We asked for a fan but they didn’t have. We had to open the windows, which disrupted our sleep since our room was located on the first floor closest to the street. We could hear everything outside! On our last night, the hot water stopped working. It took more than hour to have them fix it but we were so tired since it was already past 1AM so chose to wash up in cold water.

Overall, I think this hotel is good. The staff are so friendly and helpful!

We were five people and got three rooms and spent fours nights at this hotel. It was lovely! I couldn’t ask for a better hotel. There is an elevator in the hotel and the street this hotel is located is flat in case somebody has mobility issues. The staff are very friendly, welcoming, and nice. We went to a breakfast tour on a ship and it was worth the money. The rooms are big and spacious, clean and all those three had lovely views. It’s very central and easy to get a taxi or use public transport. Loads of restaurants are around. I would go back there if one day I go to Istanbul again. Thanks very much for making it memorable and nice for my family and I. 🌸🍀

The location is unbeatable with T1 tram stop and the two iconic mosques just a few minutes away.

The property felt old but well maintained. The room was sparkling clean and had a great view but very small - not ideal for couples or larger guests.

Good value for money. I actually had a better experience here than at a much pricier hotel nearby.

I stayed for three nights and was very satisfied! The hotel is located in the old town, in a prime location, within walking distance of attractions. The room the staff arranged had an amazing view and a large balcony – thank you! Overall, it was a very comfortable experience. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

Thank you for your two night stay.

The location was great, the price was great, and the service was great.
I have nothing to complain about.

The hotel is located in close proximity to iconic landmarks - Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Hippodrome, Blue Mosque. But this is what determines some nuances - the call to prayer or the actual prayers on holidays are heard very loudly.
The rooms are clean, the view is incredibly beautiful, the linen is snow-white, they put a bottle of water every day, there is a tea station, slippers, hygiene products.
I didn't like the situation with breakfasts a little - if you order on the spot - the cost of breakfast is 20 dollars. For this amount, a fixed menu - a set of vegetables, cheese, bread and scrambled eggs (omelette) plus tea or coffee. We did not take it, we had breakfast in a cafe somewhere around.

I came in December so it was fairly quiet, but if you come in the warm months there will surely be a large crowd. The terrace upstairs offers good views around and a good place to meet people. Located very well right off the Sultanhamet Tram stop, and very convenient to get to almost anywhere in Istanbul. Offers cheap breakfast, cheap ride to airport, and nice rooms with heat/ac and warm water for shower. Wifi is average. Hosts are very helpful, and informative. Great place to stay, especially for backpackers.
