Yes room was good. Staff were courteous. When i got to hotel i was told my booking had been cancelled. If i wanted a room i had to pay at the hotel which was more than what i was originally quoted. Location of hotel was good. Near the metro tram and mamaray. Restaurants near by. Gulhane bazaar 2 min walk.

Close to Sirkeci Station. Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia are within walking distance. The building is old but well maintained. The breakfast is reasonably priced. There was a slight smell from the taps. The staff were very friendly.

Staff made it enjoyable. Very friendly and polite. They kept my luggage in the lobby after the check out until it was the time to move to a different hotel.

As a couple we loved our stay here. The staff are wonderful, with great knowledge of the city, accommodated us with an early check in and had an airport shuttle sorted for us in the early hours of the morning. The breakfast was also great with a wide selection at a buffet. Located near a main intersection with easy access to trams and buses. When we come back we will 100% be staying here again.

this hotel is good but the lounge is crowded with boxes. the food was good i liked the cereal was good but there was something biting me and im sure it wasn’t a mosquito i got seven bites and i think it was bed bugs. the internet was good and working well but it always smelt like vomit and we didn’t vomit at all. and the bathroom toilet was full with waste.

This is a "value" hotel situated nicely for trams and trains and near the Grand Bazarre. Room was reasonably clean and functional and adequate breakfast served on the roof terrace on 8th floor giving good views over the city and the Bosphorous. Room was attended daily by cleaners. I would not recommend for family but perfectly adequate for commercial clients on a budget.

The hotel has a great location, but other aspects are unsatisfactory. Bugs kept crawling in the room, and the hotel's interior was a mess. It was even worse than a farm stay in China!

We stayed for a week in Hotel Black Tulip. The room was small, it was enough for me and my wife. Everything was functional and in good shape. The location was really good, with only a minute walk to Gulhane tram station. The noise from the tram was not as bad as we thought it would be. Definitely recommended.

The breakfast is very poor, they don't give it to you if you leave early. The air conditioner can only be turned on and off by calling the reception, which is inconvenient. The hotel is in the center of Istanbul and in a tourist area, but the room is very small, as is the bathroom. The big problem is that the air conditioner doesn't work when we're outside the room, which is inconvenient in the summer, as guests expect to return to a cool room. We were very pleased. A truly value-for-money hotel. It offers ample amenities for short stays. As someone who travels extensively, I've had many negative experiences with hotels. I've encountered hotels with no hot water, no air conditioning, or a broken TV. I didn't experience any of that at this hotel. Everything was in working order. So, I was satisfied. I'd like to thank the management.

The double room was clean and had a clean bathroom as well. The ventilation was good, but since the building is wooden, you can hear a lot of noise from other rooms — especially footsteps from the floor above.

Great service from the young man who checks u in. He was very helpful with anything we needed. The location was great, there's a convenient store only a few metres away that's open till 4am. It's a 6/7 min walk to the main high road, where u will meet the bus station, restaurants, and market.

A good room in a small, clean hotel on a quiet street, but be prepared for the fact that there is absolutely no soundproofing, you can hear everything, both what is happening on the street and what is happening in the hotel) There is a bus station nearby, which is very convenient, and there are many different shops.
