Only positive thing about the hotel is the location otherwise I don’t understand how this is a «4 star» hotel. From the start the receptionists were incredibly disrespectful and rude, the rooms are outdated and the whole hotel desperately needs a renovation. In 2025, the rooms don’t have free wifi and you need to sit in the lobby to get free access…The hotel restaurant looks like a «cantina», the food is inedible and many of us got food intoxication. Absolutely don’t recommend staying here, worst hotel I’ve ever been to.

Stayed here for a week at beginning of September, all in all, not a bad experience. More of a good 3 star than a 4 star nevertheless the location is excellent with the beach a three minute walk away, and shops, bars and restaurants just five minutes from the front door.
Food was OK by mass catering standards, with good variety from day to day - just a bit of a fight to grab a table outside. Room was comfortable with a southerly aspect and gorgeous sea view, although the neighbours were sometimes noisy at night.
Basically, you get what you pay for and in that respect the Sultan should not disappoint.

What a great hotel! We stayed there from September 2nd to the 15th! We had a fantastic experience! The staff was friendly and polite (no one was rude). We were initially given the wrong room, but the next day the issue was resolved. We were given a sea view room. The view from the window was stunning!!! The room was clean and cleaned every day. The only downside was that the air conditioning couldn't be adjusted. Otherwise, everything was great. The food and drinks were delicious, the pool was clean. And the cats were simply amazing. The sea is a three-minute walk away. The lift to Cleopatra Fortress is just a five-minute walk away, offering a stunning view of Alanya at night. There are plenty of little shops nearby. Overall, we'll never forget this vacation. Everything was fantastic, absolutely fantastic! We'll definitely come back and recommend this hotel to our friends! 😊

The hotel is definitely not up to 4 stars. The rooms are old and full of mold. The beds are extremely hard, and instead of a blanket, you get a rag worth 5 euros. The food is the same every day, the staff is unhelpful, and the Wi-Fi is paid and more expensive than buying a local SIM card. There is supposedly a gym, but all the equipment is broken. The only positive thing is the location.

To be honest, this was a nightmare I suggest no one to come here. The room was very dirty and when they come to clean they only give you new towels and they make your bed up. Asked multiple times for a new pillow but it’s 4 days later and didn’t receive anything. You have to pay for WiFi on your room but when you paid and you are in your room you don’t got any service it’s a big scam this hotel is not made for a nice vacation its horrible and they don’t want to give back your money after that. So if you are reading this I suggest you to read the other reviews and change your mind to find another hotel in this area.

We stayed at this hotel in August 2025, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. When we arrived, we had to wait at the reception for 40 minutes to check in. While one receptionist was busy, two others were available but refused to assist us, insisting that we had to wait – even though our check-in time had already passed by two hours. The breakfast was poor with very limited options, and the same applied to lunch and dinner. The food was bland and tasteless, and the drinks were watered down. Our room was also far below expectations: the beds and pillows were very hard, there was mold in the shower, damp stains on the wallpaper, urine in the bathroom, and the sink had not been cleaned before we checked in. We were also given unwashed towels. Overall, this was a terrible experience. I strongly recommend staying away from this hotel and spending your money elsewhere.

Nice on the surface, but mostly just a facade. Cleaning is superficial.
At first glance, the hotel looks great – the location is excellent, we had a lovely view from the balcony, and areas like the pool and lobby are well maintained. The problem is that cleaning only happens where it’s visible. As soon as you look beyond the surface, things change.
📷 I’m only attaching photos of the problematic areas, because you can easily find plenty of polished, staged photos online. For example, under the bed in our room clearly hadn’t been cleaned, and dirty dishes sat in the hallway for at least two days. The hallways felt neglected, even though the pool area was spotless.
🧼 It’s clear they focus on appearances – only what’s immediately visible gets cleaned, while the rest is ignored.
🍽️ Food was average, but the organization was poor. Breakfast was advertised until 9:30, but by 9:00 much of it was already being taken away. The schedule said dinner started at 6:30 pm, but every day it actually began closer to 7:00. These small things add up.
💧 Regarding the All Inclusive – I expected better. Water dispensers were often empty, and the juice machines frequently only poured water. It happened more than once. They also advertise that you can buy Corona beer (not included in the All Inclusive), but most of the time it wasn’t even available to purchase. I wanted to pay extra for it, but they simply didn’t have it – which is frustrating and shows poor inventory management.
