Grand Zaman Garden Hotel in Alanya

Hotel has a lot of potential, it looks beautiful and has great appearance and location.
However, the staff is very unpleasant, unprofessional and makes you feel uncomfortable during your stay.
Rooms are dirty and the cleaning staff doesn’t come until late in the day. When they come they don’t change towels and usually don’t fill something, either toilet paper or water, but something is always missing.
Also the two glasses you can find in the room when you arrive, come with a tissue and a cover. On our tissue there was something written, which indicated that they didn’t change it from the guests before us or that they are reusing this things. (Proof in the picture)

There are much better options for the same amount of money and even cheaper where you will be treated with respect.

Hotel is located at a good spot in Alanya which is possibly the only good thing about it.
Very bad service, especially cleaning services. We had to chase down the women to give us clean towels and toilet paper everyday even after we gave tips all the time, they didn’t change the sheets for 10 days, everybody was very rude, when I tried asking on the reception for cleaning services, they didn’t even bother to listen to what I had to say.
The food is very bad in the restaurant, snack bar is okay but no choices. Also plates and cups are dirty even after they “washed “ them. They take a plate from you during the lunch as soon as they feel you are done.
The sliding doors don’t have sensors and for the 10 days I stayed there I witnessed how the door closed on several people and hurt their legs or arms, when informed the receptionist just said they will get to it, and didn’t do anything.
When asked, in person or via email, about anything, the receptionist would just respond, you have all the information on our website (on paper in the room) please check it there.

Overall location good, service very very bad. Would not recommend.

At first. The hotel was okay nog very special. The food was good but always the same, not a lot. But then you get to the WIFI, it was horrible nothing but horrible.. and then the beds! It’s like sleeping on only wood. The staff rly helped us out with finding a taxi because we had to go home earlier. Well that was it I guess not bad not very good hotel

Problems with cleaning and service

Hotel that look a lot better online than in real life. The service is like a budget supermarked where self service is expected. The hotel have two small swimmingpools and more than 200 rooms. At The smallest swimmingpool there is morning sun and 4 waterslides. It is directly dangerous place to stay as it is so crowded that you risk bring hit. The lifeguard is spe dig halv The time in the pool bar and the rest sitting at the top of the slides. He cast se and don't care if People slide info People.

Cleaning of the rooms is quickly done. We havent received New sheets but have received some new towels.

Buffet resturant have a large offerings, but the room where you sit is not gearede to 400-500 People and this mens long Lines and too few tables. The tables are not cleaned by the staff, the tablecloth / Dew is dirty from the last meals and thy seem to don't care.

The receptionist isn't really capable of helping. We have booked 10 days for two adults and a 2 year old daughter. We asked for late check-out and was told to come and ask again the day before, they then say that the hotel is overbooked and it isn't possible.

When asking for helt too call and hear of opening hours for the small train, they say we could just go and it would be open. It wasn't unless we wanted to wait for 5 hours.

Whe asking if I could swim laps in the pool at 7 o'clock in the morning, it took them three days to get back to me that it was okay. I askedto speak to a manager or get an e-mail adress but they could only give the generale-mail adress which apparently no one reads.

The "public" bathrooms are very pretty util you notice that they haven't been cleaned and they smell of urin.
