White Country Villages Hotel in Antalya

We came to this hotel during the holiday... if you just want a place to sleep and nothing else, then come here... we stayed for three nights, there was no room cleaning. We had to throw out our own trash. There was no hot water in the bungalows in the evening. Breakfast was terrible... we bought olives and cheese from the market and made our own breakfast. They put three grumpy women there, they couldn't even talk to you... don't even expect cleanliness.

The bungalows look quite fancy in the photos, but the reality is a bit different. They are not bad overall, just not as good as they appear online. The hotel seems to be around 5–10 years old, and the condition of the materials reflects that. You can see some wear here and there. Another major downside is the hot water. There was no hot water in the sink at all, and in the shower the water was only warm, never properly hot. Breakfast is included, but the selection is quite limited. There was no coffee option at all. Eggs were only served boiled — no fried eggs or scrambled eggs. The rest was very basic: about three types of cheese, one type of sausage, bread, tomatoes, cucumbers, a few fruits, and a couple of traditional cold appetizers. That’s pretty much it. The kitchen area also looked somewhat dirty. All of this cost 7,000 liras (about $163) for two nights, which feels quite expensive for this kind of experience. On the positive side, the location is very nice, and the staff are welcoming.

If I could give a minus star, I would. This is not a Boutique Hotel. We arrived at White Country Boutique Hotel Antalya on 15 June, at 16h38. When we got there the person at reception couldn't understand or speak English. So when we said we are there to check in, she didn't know what to do. After a lot of struggle, she said our room wasn't ready, but upon confirmation they said our room would've been ready by 14h00. They then started to prepare a room, which was so dirty and smelled. We then said we didn't want to stay in the room, and after a lot of back and forth, eventually spoke to someone claiming to be the manager. He said we could get another room, which was a downgrade, we paid Eur 169 for 2 nights, the room he wanted to give us was only Eur100. When we insisted on a refund he first didn't want to comply. He then came to the hotel, only for us to find out the "manager" cannot speak english, and he brought a friend with to speak to us. When we asked for the difference in the room to be refunded he didn't want to, saying he will loose money, as he already paid commission to ***********. Eventually he had the audacity to say to us he will refund us the difference in the room price if we give him a good review, as he doesn't want a bad review. We also took pictures of the dirty room, and he demanded we delete them. I work in Travel, and this is not how it works, you as the hotel should try your best to accommodate your guests. This hotel does nothing. When we wouldn't agree, he basically chased us away, saying he will keep our money, but we have to leave and book a different hotel. This is unacceptable. He eventually after a 2 hour argument refunded us 1800 TRY. We then had to book a different hotel, and spend extra money due to this. Also.. do not trust the pictures, the rooms are nothing like on the pictures.

It took me a long time to decide to stay at this hotel due to mixed reviews. As a result, it was necessary to stay for a week, but at first I decided to book only two nights and chose a bungalow for this. Nowhere is the size of the house indicated, in fact it is quite spacious 20-22 meters, I think. It looks interesting, each house has its own small area where you can sit, it smells like wood inside, which is a plus. Of the minuses, the house is sooooo cold, the condo was constantly turned on for heating, which made it very difficult to breathe, because the warm air took away all the oxygen. The windows in the house do not open, only the front door, which you can’t leave open at night. The lock is very complicated, always closed the door for two minutes. From the BASIC HUGE MINUS, this is that there was no hot water in principle, there was not even cold water, there was only ice water, that is, in a cold house there is only ice water. I went to look at the rooms in the main building, there, too, I did not wait for hot water, I waited for about two minutes, while the water came from the tap, neither warm nor hot did not come. The door at the house is tinted, but it is not curtained with anything, that is, you see everything that happens on the street. Someone was constantly sitting on my territory, chatting, someone walked past her, it was impossible to calmly distract and relax in the house, I constantly thought whether they would come to me now or not. Another detail that I didn’t understand at all, there is simply no bed linen on the bed, no duvet cover, pillowcases on the pillows, I asked at the reception about this, they told me that there was no linen in principle, all pillows and blankets are completely washed before each guest, but it looked as strange as possible and very uncomfortable. Usually they give out at least a small piece, with which you can hide, and put a blanket on top without a duvet cover, but here there was simply nothing. I had to cover myself with a towel and put a blanket on top, because it was uncomfortable to sleep without bed linen. As a result, I would not recommend choosing such a bungalow, it is better to stay in a small hotel room at the same cost, but take a normal shower, sleep and rest.
