Ares City Hotel in Kemer

well, what can i say. i booked this as last minute getaway, and stupidly didn’t check tripadvisor before . well.. imagine how bad everybody says it is. and then think worse! Let’s start with the good points. erm.. the pool is ok. and that’s about it. The room hasn’t been cleaned in my arrival.. there was the lovely present of somebody’s skid marks on the toilet bowl. Food is pretty basic. think a lot of salad leaves, some chopped tomatoes and chopped cucumber. maybe a boiled egg at breakfast. then repeat for lunch and dinner. if you are lucky and one of the first in the queue, then you might get a bit of melon, but this disappears very quickly. as for all inclusive. No alcohol. at all. no snacks. if you are lucky you might get a syrup coke. (but they ran out of that on 3 days) room wasn’t cleaned at all for my six days. all in all quite an experience. probably spent about the same eating out. oh and the staff know it’s a pit.. but really don’t care. that’s if you can find one that speaks english.

We arrived at our room @01.30 ish only to find the room hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests. Beds slept in. Toilet had got s#!t in it. The bog brush was covered in s#!t and the bin was full. We asked if we could move to another room and told no. So we sat at the pool till 05.30 till he all of a sudden had another room in a different building. All the food was catered for Russian guests. No labels on anything. The bar would only serve 1 red and white wine in a scrumpy jars for everyone and once that was gone that was it for the day. Juice and slush machine were empty for 2 days. The whole hotel is a disgrace. DO NOT BOOK !

I'm going to make this as brief as possible.I have no words to describe how bad this Hotel??? IS but all the above reviews are exactly how it is.BE PREPARED YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! You will only have yourself to blame I read all the reviews and like many others thought it cant be that bad.Wish I'd took heed now.

Worse hotel I have been in. All inclusive and it’s only on wine and soft drink there is actually no bar. It’s dark in a night. We had to use our lights on phone to walk down to our room on most nights. The rooms are dirty if you need clean bedding or towels you have to take them from a washing line. The shower had no hot water and sometimes no water at all. The mattress’s are all dirty and black mould, damn coming through. Non of the staff understand English you have to translate through your phone. We complained numerous times about having no hot water and was told if we left our key they would look into it this was never done. The food was the same on a daily and was catered more for the Russians and the Turkish. No kettle or fridge within the rooms the safes aren’t fastened down. I would avoid this hotel at all cost!

This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in .your room doesn't get cleaned while you're there if you need clean towels you have to get them off a washing line of you are lucky to be any left.the food was the same every day and awful .drinks choice only wine and soft .no hot water or a key to lock out room until we assisted we wanted one .the sunbeds in the pictures are nit the same they only have white ones which only lay down .and are limited .no hot water.no lift .this hotel is definitely for the English .rooms are so out dated and falling to bits so glad we didn't take our kids here .alot of money and time needs to be spent on this hotel to make it right .false advertising really it's wrong . The pots are only rinsed through with water which the sink is gross

This is not ALL Inclusive there is breakfast dinner and tea with nothing available after set meal times. Breakfast boiled eggs and watermelon. Dinner/lunch bread, potatoes sometimes soup. Tea salad and rice. There are no spirits at the bar only basic red and white wine sometimes and no cans or bottles of soft drinks. If you arrive after 10 pm nothing is available. No cleaner all week, no rubbish removed or floors swept. You have to ask for toilet rolls at reception, if they have any. No towel or sheet change and no extra pillows or any pillowcases. Everyone we spoke to spent up to £1500 per couple eating out and with very little alcohol included, the corner shop made a killing on vodka. I put a towel on the bathroom floor, leaking shower, and was ashamed to hang it over the balcony. Never again. But it definitely is NOT all inclusive.

OMG I hope this review will make at least one person stay away from this excuse for a hotel. Transfer was ridiculous waited until the flight from another airport landed so the transfer people could get double the amount of travellers . I was then dropped off at the sister hotel (the Ares dream )and told the city hotel was just 10 minutes away after a couple of hours trying to find the Ares city hotel i made my way back to the Ares dream hotel who finally sent me and 2 Germans by taxi to the Ares city at around 5 am not bad for a 1am pick up ?? The sheer shock of the mould on the walls and the noise from the ac was crazy and the receptionist just shrugged his shoulders showing no shame as to the state of the room . being woken at 5.30 by the prayer man was the last thing i expected but that is the way life goes on however nowhere was i told about this prayer being as it was . All inclusive ?? I think there is a mix up of what British and Turkish consider to be all inclusive,soft drinks or some disgusting wine I suppose that covers the point stating all drinks covered.All plates and bowls are cheap and nasty plastic same with drinking cups ,however they did have glasses for wine even if they only held about 100ml.The food is repetative consisting of 1 veggie and 1 meat meal and plenty of salad. The members of staff were rude and didnt care about anyones situation unless( it seemed ) you were a Russian female who got plenty of attention.There will be plenty of doubters like myself who probably dont take much attention to reviews but please please stay away from this hotel which has been described by Turkish people as nothing more than a hostel. I read the review tips and I tried to write this review as honest as possible which is why i have no good points to write about.If there are any doubters thinking it cant be that bad I left the Ares eight days earlier from my original departure date.

Hotel from hell . All inclusive no bedding no towels. Mouldy pillow . To kettle in room very little light on night time. No alcohol cold drinks machines turned of at 10 Flies over food absolutely disgusting not a 3star at all its definitely a zero

Absolute pits filthy rooms and shower never been cleaned for years.Supposedly all inclusive but no beer or spirits only wine which is vile. Bedding filthy as well...staff not at all helpful....keep well away...some people left after just one night.

This is without doubt the worst hotel ever, room was filthy (only 1 cleaner for 74 rooms) food disgusting salads out non chilled in no acon dining room, no free WiFi as stated in brochure, the bar only serves wine, it was supposed to be All inclusive, don't go anywhere near this so called Hotel !!!!!!?
