No drinks until 7?? and then only beer and wine, both also not nice. Dirty laundry and towels laying around in the corridors for hours on end- smelling like sweat. Reception not willing to help much, a/c stopped working and we had to wait for almost an hour (outside at reception, since they took out key. We travelled through the night and were exhausted and it was very late. We initially were supposed to stay there for seven nights, but ended up leaving to another hotel after the first night, it was NOT worth the money at all. do.not.recommend

The hotel’s license needs to be revoked, it cannot provide tourist services! I paid for 8 days in this hotel, a Turkish woman who introduced herself as the director of the Astoria Hotel began shouting at me upon check-in: “Who are you to be given a good room?” I replied, how dare you shout at me, I’m a hotel client. She began to insult me ​​and shout “get out”! I ran to call the tourist police, a hotel employee caught up with me and started shouting that we will testify against you, you will not achieve anything. What terrible dishonesty!!!!! I paid for my stay. Shocked by the insults and inappropriate behavior of the hotel director, photo attached. I took a video of this woman’s insults, screams and rudeness and sent it to the Russian company that I paid for this hotel. I couldn’t check in. I’ve been coming to Turkey for 20 years, but the hotel staff shouted to the hotel client “Who are you???”” I have never seen such inappropriate behavior anywhere. This woman needs to be isolated from society, and not allowed to work with people.

Check-in: We arrived in the evening, received our keys, and went up to our room. The room was extremely small, and the bed was uncomfortable with springs digging into us. The shower was a struggle to operate, and the refrigerator was not working. When I went down to the reception, the second manager promised that a specialist would come in the morning to fix the refrigerator. The hotel had terrible sound insulation, as every noise from neighboring rooms could be heard. It felt like the walls were made of cardboard covered with tiles in the bathroom or simply plastered in the bedroom. Due to these issues, we had difficulty falling asleep. The next day, we had to change rooms by lunchtime. They charged us an additional $5, claiming that the staff was too busy to clean our room (even though our first room remained vacant for another 4-5 days). The refrigerator specialist never showed up. Surprisingly, the refrigerator in the second room was also faulty. Additionally, the electronic key slot often didn't respond, and we had to play around with the key to find the right position to activate the electricity. Food: Breakfast: Once a week, we had fairly tasty pancakes, but for the rest of the week, it was just eggs (boiled or fried), potatoes with eggplants, and cheap store-bought cookies. Lunch: The options included chicken, stewed vegetables, pasta, and potatoes, but the vegetable selection was limited to cucumbers, tomatoes, and grated carrots. The fruit options were even more limited, with watermelon, sour plums, and oranges. The desserts were tasteless and monotonous, resembling either soufflés or some unknown creations. Dinner: It was essentially the same as lunch, with the addition of grilled dishes (meat and fish) that were quite tasty. In reality, every day, every meal was served on the same plate with no variety. There were salads that nobody touched - seriously. I would come for dinner early, and when I left, I would see untouched salads, even though everyone else was already eating. Never had a baklava! There. wasn't. any baklava. in Turkey! There were two beverage vending machines, but one of them was completely out of order for several months, as I found out from reviews. They claimed to have hot chocolate, but there was no actual chocolate. The tea selection was practically nonexistent. Bar: The bar offered wine, gin, vodka, raki, whiskey, beer, Sprite, and Cola. Unfortunately, the bar staff had poor language skills and didn't understand the word "cocktail." Even if they did, forget about cocktails. The most they could offer was whiskey mixed with cola, as there were no other ingredients available. Pool: There were two pools - a large one and a small one that resembled a jacuzzi. Strangely, the small pool operated all night, disturbing sleep for those on the lower floors. Beach: The walk to the beach took approximately 10 minutes. We rested with a friend in May 2023. The hotel is far from 4 *. In Kemer we rest not for the first time, but such a terrible attitude for the first time. We arrived late in the evening, settled us in a hurry, because we interfered with the solitude at the reception with drinking wine with a lady who shortly before us (as Nabi explained to us) was settled in the hotel. He escorted us to the room, we didn’t even check everything at once, we were tired, then we asked about dinner (because other hotels always provided a late dinner upon arrival), to which we received an answer - you arrived too late. And the fact that the day is paid, no one cares in principle. As a result, we found dry, cold nuggets and olives. Accordingly, we did not eat, and at the exit Nabi asked with a smirk - how do you like dinner? In general, we ate in a cafe not far from the hotel, returned and went to bed. In the morning we found that the shower in our room was broken (the door from the cabin was just standing inside). We have been relocated. In the next room, there were problems with the hair dryer, it just turned off by itself when drying the hair (after some time it burned out), they left a request for the reception, they promised that the master would come in the morning and fix everything, but the master did not come and, as explained at the reception in a rude manner with the phrase Irina - What do you want from me? that our application has not even been recorded and that we can only be moved to another room, because there will be no master, he is in another hotel. There was no desire to move from room to room when the suitcase was unpacked and more than half of the vacation had passed. But they didn't want to listen to us. As a result, we were relocated again. The attitude at the reception is disgusting, the staff does not greet, rudely answers questions (this applies to Nabi and Irina). But the attendants who clean the rooms are very friendly, always responding to any requests quickly. The hotel is not recommended. Our rating is 2*. Definitely not worth your money. No desire to return to the hotel. And we don't recommend it to anyone.
