Joker Side Hill Suite Hotel in Side

I booked this hotel in May 2017 and we agreed on €30 a night
When we arrived at the end of July at 2 AM the staff refused to give us our key and said we had to pay €45 a night. After 2 hours of arguing we agreed on €35 a night and we could finally go to our room.

They claim the room is a family room but that is not true. It is a 2 person room with 1 bed and 2 very old and bad couches. The shower was dirty and there was no kitchenware to speak of. (1 knife, 2 forks and 2 glasses) obviously not enough for 4 people. We had 2 broken chairs and a broken table on the balcony. Our shower door was also broken.
We had to ask for new towels and toilet paper, and our beds were only cleaned once a week. The air-conditioning was not working properly and the doors to the balcony couldnt be locked. The pool was not properly cleaned. It is also only 100 to 140cm deep. The sunbeds and parasols were all teared and broken. There were cigarettes lying around everywhere and the common toilets and showers at the pool were not clean. The worst thing was the cockroaches that lived in the bathroom and near the pool. After complaining about it they used some kind of poison to get rid of them.

On our last day the staff told us at 11:30 that we had to be out of the room by 12:00. When we told them we had to fly at 22:30 the staff said we would have to pay another €45 euros to stay the rest of the day. When we disagreed they became very rude and angry.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
The pictures shown on the internet are 10 years old and do not represent the way it looks now.
We wanted to leave after 1 night but were not able to find anything nearby, we stayed for 3.5 weeks.

Booked for the week turned up and it is not even open no water in pool, bad move Booking. Com, rundown mess
