I would like to bring to your notice my extremely disappointing experience at voco Monaco Dubai. I had booked the Love in Dubai package to celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary, expecting it to be a memorable and special occasion. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be the complete opposite.
Firstly, there was nothing special about the package. It was treated just like a normal booking, and there were no arrangements or efforts made to make the celebration feel special despite the occasion being clearly mentioned.
Secondly, the food quality was very poor. The food served was cold and had an unpleasant smell. Shortly after eating, I started feeling unwell, which completely ruined the experience for me and my friend .
Additionally, I had originally booked the 7:00 PM return ferry, but we ended up taking the earliest ferry at 2:00 PM because we simply could not continue our stay due to the poor experience.
Considering the total amount spent — around AED 2,400 for the package and approximately AED 1,000 more on drinks for just one visit for four people — the experience was extremely disappointing. The pricing felt highly unjustified given the quality of service, food, and overall cleanliness of the place.
This was meant to be a special celebration for my 10th wedding anniversary, but sadly it turned out to be one of the worst experiences. I sincerely hope the management reviews this matter seriously and provides an appropriate response regarding this issue.

I recently stayed in this hotel with my husband and friends and had a so-so experience.

While the hotel itself appeared new on the inside, I was disappointed to find that the exterior seemed rundown, with paint peeling in several areas. This kind of disappointed me from the overall aesthetic of the property.

Furthermore, I found the water activities to be overpriced and not worth the expense. Additionally, dining at La Brasserie proved to be a frustrating experience as we had to wait for over an hour for our food, despite ordering a relatively simple meal. A lot of people were also complaining, not just us.

Unfortunately, our dining options were further limited as La Rive seafood restaurant was closed for an Iftar event, leaving us with little choice in terms of dining venues.

On a positive note, we did enjoy the amenities such as the pool with its bubbling feature, although I would caution against inhaling the bubbles as they caused discomfort in the throat. The views from the hotel were stunning, and the boat ride provided an enjoyable experience.

Overall, while there were some highlights to our stay, the issues mentioned above detracted from the overall enjoyment of our time at the hotel. I hope you will consider addressing these concerns to improve the guest experience in the future.
