Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk in Dubai

My flight got canceled again, so I ended up staying an extra day. As always, I was completely satisfied. This should be my last night here, and hopefully, my evening flight won't be canceled again. I'll definitely be back next time! 😁

This hotel is truly incredible value for money. I had such a great experience from start to finish. The views are absolutely spectacular. From my room, I could even see the Dubai Frame, which made it feel extra special.

The location couldn’t be better. It’s so easy to get around the city from here, whether you’re exploring or heading out for dinner. And having a mall connected to the hotel was honestly the best part. It made everything so convenient and stress-free.

I would definitely stay here again.

Good service and connected to Wafi Mall. Breakfast was also good. However, lack variations and always served same throughout our stay. No turndown service unlike Sofitel Downtown Hotel.

Among the three hotels we stayed at in Dubai-Abu Dhabi, this one was a bit of a letdown. The facilities felt a bit outdated, and check-in was a bit slow. Most room types don't allow for extra beds, and the twin beds are quite small, which isn't very convenient for those traveling with children. The breakfast area was practically empty; on our first day, there were about ten people, and on the second, only five or six. The food leaned heavily towards Middle Eastern flavors, and the selection wasn't very wide.

There's a mall nearby with my favorite PAUL cafe. After breakfast on our second day, we even went to PAUL for a second breakfast! You could easily book without breakfast here, as there are many options for breakfast nearby.

Room service was decent, and it's about a five to six-minute walk to the metro station.

Very near to airport and best pick if have early morning flight as the traffic to airport is quite heavy! 10 mins walk to metro also make the location more accessible.
The bedsheet is very impressively soft and comfortable! Large window that make the spaces much spacious!

Very good amenities and close to metro station. Supermarket is just below the hotel. Room is clean and service is excellent. Will definitely come back.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to the metro station, making transportation incredibly convenient. Right next door, there's a shopping mall and a Carrefour supermarket, which was absolutely perfect for our last-minute shopping spree before heading back home. The room itself was incredibly spacious. We stayed on the 30-something floor, offering expansive views and a spectacular cityscape. The bathtub was huge, making for a wonderfully relaxing soak, and the bedding was also superb, ensuring a very sound sleep. The TV was actually the largest we saw during our entire trip to the UAE. As a honeymoon couple, the hotel thoughtfully prepared a chocolate cake for us, which tasted fantastic.

The most delightful surprise was the hotel's outdoor swimming pool on the sixth floor. It's really large, divided into two sections: 1.2 meters and 1.5 meters deep. There were plenty of loungers by the pool and even a bar. We went twice in total; the first time we stayed for three hours, and the second time we indulged for a full six hours. Just lying there, reading a book, browsing on our phones, occasionally taking a dip, and then coming back to relax some more – it was truly delightful. When we got hungry, we'd order pizza, quesadillas, or fries, and the prices were very reasonable. Plus, they had a happy hour from 4 PM to 7 PM daily, offering various alcoholic beverages.

The only minor inconvenience was that if you ordered takeout, you had to go downstairs to pick it up yourself. Delivery drivers weren't allowed upstairs, and the hotel didn't offer room service for deliveries.

All in all, we had a very enjoyable two-day stay here.

My second time staying here. Service is excellent with smiles around. Stayed on 19th floor overlooking the sunrise. Thumbs up to all staff that served us during breakfast. They are polite, helpful, hardworking and cheerful in spite of being busy. Hotel is near the metro and Wadi shopping mall. Look forward to go back to Sofitel the Obelisk!

We returned to Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk for part of our honeymoon stay, and it was nothing short of amazing. The service was exceptional from start to finish, and the team went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were surprised with a romantic setup in our room, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the experience even more memorable.

The rooms are spotlessly clean, beautifully modern, and incredibly comfortable — we genuinely had the best night’s sleep. Sofitel The Obelisk continues to exceed expectations, and we can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend!

My family and I stayed over for 3 days for my parent's wedding anniversary. Our room was very lovely, with a fantastic view of Burj Khalifa. The service was quick and very efficient.

The food was amazing! Shoutout to Mr. Ramesh and Mr. Abhay, who went out of their way to cater to our specific requests.

This was already our second stay and like the first time, we had such a memorable stay. We will surely come back!
