Crowne Plaza Dubai Festival City is the first hotel in Dubai, which follows the concept of the Smoking ban with the aim of preserving the environment. Smoking is allowed only in The Belgium Beer Cafe, where there are designated places for Smoking, or in the many outdoor restaurants adjacent to the hotel and shopping Mall Dubai Festival City.
Built: 2008
Location: in the heart of Dubai Festival City, Deira, on the Gulf coast. An attractive district centre with lots of shops, restaurants and entertainment for children and adults, 2 km from Dubai international airport. The hotel is connected to the InterContinental Dubai Festival City 5*.
The hotel belongs to the chain of the INTERCONTINENTAL HOTELS GROUP.
Consists of one 36-storey building.
In the hotel's 316 rooms (all non Smoking, no balconies).
Beach: public, sandy 10 km from the hotel (3 coastline). The entrance to the sea sand. On the beach umbrellas, sun beds: free. Shuttle bus to the beach: not provided (beach of Al Mamzar Park, entrance fee 1.4$). The beach is 1.7 km away.
The hotel takes the Deposit to the payment of additional services not included in the tour price - $ 140 per room per night.

A special mention must go to Rhea and Rajeev from Housekeeping, who went above and beyond to ensure our room was always immaculate, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. Their attention to detail and friendly demeanor made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay.
Sohel at the concierge desk was outstanding — always courteous, knowledgeable, and eager to assist. Whether it was guidance, recommendations, or logistical help, his service was seamless and reassuring.
The hotel facilities were excellent, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. The location is absolutely beautiful, offering stunning views of the Dubai Creek, which added a calm and scenic charm to our experience. Watching the creek from the hotel was truly memorable.
Overall, the Crowne Plaza delivers not only in comfort and location, but in heartfelt hospitality. We left with wonderful memories and would gladly return again.
Crowne Plaza Hotel at Festival City is one of my favorite hotels in Dubai. The hotel’s location is amazing—attached to Festival Mall, a long walking place, with a sea view and Dubai Creek activities and near the main airport.
The room is furnished well and clean, and the Wi-Fi is good and quick for any tasks.
Staff are friendly, especially Mr. Mohammed Fayed; I appreciate his care. Also, I will consider the same hotel on my next visit.
We would like to thank Ms Maraym at frontdesk, for her hospitality. She offered us an excellent room with creek view.
I wnt to thank Atef from the main restaurant for being nice and making sure that we enjoying our breakfast daily.
Again the place, location and the IHG team made us feel we are at home
In addition, no extra bed was provided, despite requesting it. As a result, my children had to sleep on the floor, which is completely unacceptable, especially for a hotel of this level.
This experience was very disappointing and did not meet basic family accommodation standards.
