We had a great stay at this apartment in New Cairo, conveniently located opposite a supermarket. The host and co-host were extremely friendly, kind, and supportive, making our stay very comfortable from start to finish.
They shared excellent local insights about places to visit, commuting, and getting around Cairo. We were warmly welcomed, and they kindly accommodated our late check-out request. They even helped us arrange a taxi to Alexandria and personally explained everything to the driver to make our journey smooth.
What truly stood out was their hospitality — they were ready to help even after check-out. As they say, they became our family in Egypt, and we genuinely felt at home during our stay.
A perfect place to stay in New Cairo — highly recommended.
I recently visited Jonrad and was shocked by the extremely rude behavior of the receptionist, Sarfaraz. I approached him in an emergency situation, politely asking if I could use the washroom. To my surprise, he flat out denied my request, showing no empathy or understanding whatsoever.
As a guest, I expect a certain level of courtesy and respect, especially from the hotel staff. Sarfaraz's behavior was not only unprofessional but also inhumane. Denying someone access to a washroom in an emergency situation is unacceptable.
While the hotel itself may have its strengths, the poor customer service I experienced left a sour taste. I hope the management takes immediate action to address this issue, apologize for the behavior of their staff member, and ensure that guests are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve.
