New stylish city hotel, one of the best in the Deira district. The cosy rooms are well insulated from the city noise, there are Russian-speaking staff. Recommended for families with children and tourists looking for a new level of accommodation in Deira. Taken on arrival Deposit.

Location: in the Deira district, 13 km from Dubai airport. Nearby are shopping centers, "al Ghurair and Reef Mall", a 5 – minute drive from the Gold Souk and the bustling shopping district of al-Nasr Square. To the nearest metro station 5 minute walk.
Enters into group of hotels, MOVENPICK HOTELS & RESORTS.
Consists of one 7-storey building.
The hotel has 216 elegant guest rooms of different colors – green, blue and pink. There are rooms for non-smokers, 96 connected room.
Beach: public, sandy beach 4 km from the hotel (3 coastline). The entrance to the sea sand. On the beach umbrellas, sun beds: free. Shuttle bus to the beach (Al Mamzar beach

I spent the most terrible night (9th February 2026) when i had a reservation in your hotel and i arrived at midnight after a long fligh, but the egyptian receptionnist told me to not be able to find my reservation. He only told me to check with lastminute the website i paid for the reservation. I spent almost an hour waiting in the lobby while trying to contact the website. I got harrassed by a man inside your hotel. I didnnt feel safe so when i came back to reception, another receptionnist was more kind and explained to me that they have a problem with lastminute and that 3 other guests had the same problem in the same day! And that there is no room available for that night!! The other receptionnist didn’t tell me these details and i kept waiting for one hour for nothing. I was super disappointed, i cried from 1 am to 6 am non stop. I was approached by 2 other men that night (total is 3) who tried to offer me their stay!!! I am a young woman who was alone in Dubai at night. Hence your team didn’t even do the minimum which is to find me an available room in another hotel. I am speaking of fact because i have already worked as a receptionnist. The security men and the man working in the café were super nice to me, but the egyptian receptionnist was the worst to me ever! He just wanted to see me suffer as if he had something personal towards me.
Till this day i am so traumatised, will never book any Avani in my life and would tell my story to people so they avoid what i had to go through.
Suggestion is to avoid this hotel. Though the metro station is near, it's useful for only for couple of destinations. Not for something like dessert safari, Dhow cruise. It will take forever to reach to the hotel.
Upon arriving in a taxi no one met me at the door to help bring my luggage in, which was not normal for any hotel I have stayed in in Dubai.
For me the location was not the best, but I made it work.
There was a lounge next to reception and I was on the 2nd floor, and heard loud music late a couple nights.
The upgraded room was spacious, and the king size bed was very comfortable.
The only small downside was the breakfast.
We would like to sincerely thank Sunday, who was amazing with us and helped us so much throughout our stay. Thanks to him, we’ll keep very good memories of this experience.
