Impeccable service, very friendly staff, cosy rooms with great views to the sea side. You feel here warm and cosily like at home. Location is perfectly convenient, diverse infrastructure all around

However, they don’t escort guests to tables; you just find a seat yourself, which is fine but felt a bit unpolished

The hotel was quite good overall, but the only drawback was the lack of a washing machine. The meals were okay; I'd opted for the meal plan, and both the service and ambiance were decent

Was a great experience. Hotel is nice, professional and clean. Service was great too. Rooms were on smaller side for two people but the plus side was location was great!

The hotel is situated quite near to the city center but not quite walking-distance. The overall experience was extremely positive and we would 100% stay here again, if we ever visit the city again

Perfect location close to Dubai Mall, City Walk, the palm jumeirah. It’s a very walkable area as well which I love

Rooms are on the smaller side, which is probably the main trade-off, but they are well designed and I did appreciate that the bathroom is fully separate from the sleeping area (not always the case in newer hotels)

The hotel has a fun, colourful, and relaxed beachfront vibe, and the location within the La Mer/J1 development works well, especially with several great beach clubs nearby

Stayed at Rove La Mer Beach for a short staycation in early April 2026 and overall had a really positive experience

I also enjoyed the beautiful sea view overlooking the swimming pool — it was absolutely stunning

To make my birthday even more special, the hotel surprised me with a complimentary cake and sweets, which I truly appreciated. The staff were all very kind and accommodating, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay

Only things we did not like that much was the traffic some night, but it's was okay and we sleep well anyways, not so much to do about it when you live so "central". The fridge also needs to be cooler

I really loved it here and will definitely come back again

And another funny little detail – the pillowcases are different, like grandma's at her dacha :))) Everything else is fine. The view from the window is simply gorgeous. The bed is comfortable and good

Wonderful Birthday Stay!
I spent my birthday at this hotel and had such a great experience. The room was spacious and included a bathtub, which made the stay even more relaxing

The hotel's sea view is absolutely stunning, like a jellyfish shell, and the sand on the beach is incredibly fine and soft. Plus, it's a private beach for the hotel. The hotel rooms and facilities are just average

We had the buffet at the hotel, which cost 285 dirhams per person. The variety of dishes wasn't extensive, but the taste was acceptable. Overall, it lacks the atmosphere of a typical beachfront resort hotel

The hotel design is impeccable, with a predominantly white color scheme that's modern and upscale. The balcony in the sea view room is a bit small, with limited sea views, but the bathtub is quite large

Jumeirah's beaches are the most beautiful in Abu Dhabi! The water is crystal clear, shimmering in the sunlight. It's a true jelly-like sea, a glassy sea 💙. The water is truly aquamarine 💎

It’s location in Dubai Marina is really nice too! While the hotel itself is rather tranquil with a massive private beach, it’s also only a few minutes away from the JBR Walk, allowing you to go exploring the city, go shopping or having dinner somewhere else

The hotel is very family friendly, even the standard room is very big, they have a big playground, a wonderful kids pool and the staff really gave our son the feeling that he is more than welcomed

As a frequent guest at luxury hotels in this price range, I booked this property through Ctrip for a special New Year’s Eve stay at approximately 16,000 per night, expecting a seamless and memorable experience

- Unauthorized people somehow get onto the beach and comfortably set up their belongings on the sand in front of the sunbeds (some even brazenly use the sunbeds themselves)

This is because there are nearby restaurants, particularly a Greek restaurant directly opposite the building, and a couple of bars to the side of the rooms

The security didn't seem to react much on the occasions I observed. - If your room faces the bay and 'Venice,' be prepared for music every day until 2 AM

Wonderful 3 night stay at Taj. Exceeded my expectations. Lovely hotel and facilities. Sraff could not have been more friendly. Loved the pool area and eloquent elephant bar. You can walk to dubai mall in around 20 mins.

Amazing new (renovated) hotel close to Nature (birds are signing from the morning; fresh area and no any noise from the roads). Coffee on reception is ART - so tasty (based on my trials in other hotels)

Definitely stay in a villa! The service is excellent, the stay is super comfortable, and I slept really well. Plus, you can take a boat ride within the hotel, and the swimming pools are all very clean.

The beaches and pools are fantastic and you'll never get enough of them! It's also very close to the Burj Al Arab. It's a great place for photos. The service could use some improvement; some of the staff were quite rude

Families with young children should be aware that we were charged extra for our 5-year-old's breakfast, but not for the extra bed. This situation has never happened at other hotels, including other Jumeirah properties

The room was very spacious, clean, and tidy. To get to and from restaurants, you need to take an Abra, just call for one. Waiting times can be a bit longer during peak hours, but it's generally quite quick otherwise

The butler arranged messages and happy hour for us. Service: Quite good, they responded to all our requests. There are many animals, mostly peacocks, and you can generally touch them

Opposite the hotel there is construction of 4 buildings and a highway, from which there is a lot of noise, from which the windows and doors do not save due to poor sound insulation

I stayed for 5 days and I really recommend this hotel. The complimentary breakfast has variety of options and I receive complimentary water every day. The staffs were attentive and helpful

The room wasn't huge, but it had everything we needed. The shower had great hot water and strong pressure. We had a nice view of the Twin Towers from our room, which was a plus

Also, if a parking spot has a green line at its entrance, be aware that after 9 PM, only locals are allowed to park there, to avoid extra fines. Additionally, parking is free on public holidays and weekends

Across the street is the beachfront with water fountains and regular fountains, perfect for enjoying the view or going for a run. Just a few kilometers down the coast from the hotel, there's a free beach

This hotel is the tallest building around, so if you get a high-floor room, the view should be great. However, it seems that the glass exterior walls aren't particularly clean, possibly due to dust

Now for the series of unfortunate events. in advance requested high floor nice view. Got 7 of 16 floors, no view without cash. Deluxe room is beautiful but a Standard size. We were sick most of the time here

TV remote keeps skipping out of channels back to hotel home screen, like living in a TV maze. Cheap with the bath dispensers, squirt out teeny amounts so kill your fingers and patience. Coffee machine tasted truly bad

What's the point of this? Froze my wet head while waiting staff to show me invisible button. Lights and remote very high tech look so utterly flat minimalist buttons hard to work

The AC was stuck at 17, freezing and they said it will warm up slowly. False, woke up with head colds, sick all day. I heard another guy complain about the same 2 days later

Phone power cord drops out every night, hairdryer plug in dark cabinet, with a hidden power off button, so when fumbling to plug in you secretly cut off the outlets power

The taxis here are very cheap and it’s roughly only £5-6 to get to Yas island, we went off on trips several days. The wonderful Keshila on the front desk let us check in early when we arrived and upgraded our room…

I would like to give a special shout-out to the housekeeping team - Aru, Jared, and Nayan were absolutely amazing. They cleaned our room every day, and every time we walked in, we were truly impressed

We often got a lovely surprise of a lovely little towel animal and a chocolate on our beds, which was a real treat. We also had fresh towels everyday. So much choice and cooked so well
