Amazing hotel with great service and clean rooms. Perfect location, centre of the city. Spacious rooms with everything you need for the stay, quiet area and very smooth check-in/check-out. Very polite staff, totally recommend!
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and with hand signals, we were able to communicate. Comfortable and quiet rooms. If I were to mention only one discomfortable was the breakfast, which can only be eaten inside the room, and wasn´t of great quality (but that was our experience in most of Ukraine 😊 ).
That's a fine hotel.. it's clean it's quiet has nice rooms and it's good to reach from the Zhulyany airport. What else is needed.!
Nice and cosy hotel. Close to most sights in Kiev
Small but very cozy and clean hotel. Comfortable beds, air conditioning for hot summers. Small breakfast on tray, because the only minus: there is no restaurant inside. But definitely worth the stay.

Andre and the team have been amazing. It is a great location and all the services are perfect. Thank you!!!! Josh from the United Kingdom
This was a great price to quality offering! It was so quiet while being close to the busy streets.
The room was clean and smelled very nice!
The bed was comfy! I got a great rest.
The personnel went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable.
I loved having the AC in the room, it was a saving in the 30 degree heat.
The internet worked without any issues, I was able to hold a business video...
Excellent hotel.
Very clean.
Reasonable value for money.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Good location for easy access into town.
Interesting area, up and coming.
Rooms a little small.
Bathroom and shower great but a bit cramped.
Beds comfortable.
Room a little warm, AC didn't work in either room, only fan worked.
Big TV.
Overall, excellent.
excellent hotel , deserve the 5 stars , and tha staff is so respectful
My stay was for one night. It was fine but I would like to let know this so you don't get surprise like me :
- No parking in the area, I had to park in a paid parking near the Golden gate. Not that far but still not that easy to find & to go there after dropping your bags considering the crazy traffic in the area, that is a night mare
- this is like apartment s place not a hotel & it is in the 4th...
Great room in city centre location. 1 down side is its on 4th floor and lift is broken. Good price for its location. The best part is the staff. I had an incident and the staff went above and beyond to help me. They are a credit to the apartments and always someone around to assist you.
Room is a good size clean and comfortable with added bonus a sauna which is beautiful
The staff speak English very well and I had no difficulty in communicating. When there is a problem, they try to find a solution and help immediately. The location is also very good and in a very central place. The rooms were very clean, very spacious. If I go to kiev again, I will definitely stay in this apartment. the only bad thing was that the elevator was not working in the building and we...
So we spent several days here.
The room was nice and large, to our surprise it had its own sauna!
located close to the center for shops, restaurants and bars an easy 5 min walk.
The staff are friendly.
We didnt speak the local language so communication was a little complicated but over all worked ok.
There was some decorating going on in the entrance hall (nothing noisy) so when thats finished it will...
Nice hostel situated not far from city centre. Rooms are clean. Good heating system. There are towels 2 per person and 1 for leg, cups, plates, tea, coffee, sugar. Very pretty and nice reception girl. The bed is comfort and clean also. In the room can be more then two persons, there is a sofa. Bathroom is also clean and there is a hair dryer. We stayed for night and were delighted. One bad thing -...
Stayed here one night with my husband, we loved it! Really nice personal, cozy and clean rooms. The location of these apts is perfect, really close to the center. Also there's one coffe shop near, I want to recommend it, The Blue Cup. Definitely coming back to you guys next time we're in Kiev.

It’s ok for 1 night, close to the station. They should put a sign outside as it was very difficult to find the place. No English
The most budget friendly hostel with a great location.
I was one of those who always hesitated going to hostel, but after this one my views are totally changed.
Loved my stay over there.
I have lived in this place for a month, it was really a nice place, and people were very nice and the lady working there was very kind.

The hotel is conveniently located - 10 minutes walk to the train station. Check-in is quick, staff is friendly. The room is clean, there is a mini-fridge, kettle, TV. Wi-Fi works well. Everything is clean in the bathroom. It was a little disappointing that there were no disposable slippers. But otherwise - great, I recommend it.
I moved in on February 12th. Booked through Booking for a day. The room is clean, very high ceilings. Double room can be viewed on the website, the photos correspond to reality. If your bed is by the window in the cold season, ask the administrator for a wind blower, or sleep in pajamas. The room has everything you need for travelers. Mini-fridge, TV, kettle with cups, bedside tables, chairs, wardrobe...
The hotel is ok for its prices. Simple, but neat. Towels, slippers, gel / shampoo, normal linen. Spacious. Cheerful wifi. There are restaurants nearby, Mac. The grandfather on watch for 20 UAH guards the car at night.
Clean but old hotel .. location is nice .
Quite big rooms, good wifi connectivity, clean and cosy.

I have been staying in this wonderful, quiet hotel for a long period of time for 7 years. Thank you very much for the hospitality, friendly, homely atmosphere, individual approach to the wishes of each guest. The rooms are cozy, clean, warm, there is all the necessary furniture, dishes, tiles for cooking. Comfortable beds, clean bedding. There is an iron and ironing board. Everything works during a...
Only cold water in winter in this hotel. It should be evaluated high only in summer.

Friendly staff, great mini hotel, was clean room and all place.
Very central place. Quite comfy bed and pillow. Price to comfort ratio impeccable. Definitely recommended.
The hotel provides free coffee but we dint drink so no comments on it. The beautiful lady assisted to use the new elevator which was so kind of her. Hot & cold water in shower! 15-mins away from the Olympics stadium! We with my bf walked but they were closed already. Beautiful view from bedroom!
I had booked only 1 hour prior my arrival and the room was ready as requested! The room was small yet worth what we paid for. Great Value of Money. Friendly and beautiful ladies in reception! The staff were ready to help whenever required. There is a mini corridor where you can use iron!
not too fancy but not too shabby either. Room was clean enough and well heated during the cold night.
few problems though: first, there was the issue of the sketchy building that the hotel resided in. Second, the water system was driven by pumps which made A-LOT of noise while showering or even washing hands.
This hotel is the perfect definition to 'you get what you pay for'.
Really nice place, not easy to find and the WiFi can be sporadic. But for the price you can't go wrong.

There was a painting of an important event, they rented a superior suite. The staff is very cool. It was very nice that a nice gift of champagne was waiting in the room. Loved the TV in the room with internet very convenient. I didn't want to write negatives, but this is important. I took a garbage bag with me, so I took it as I knew, there was a small trash can in the toilet in the room, we were not...
TV does not work, blanket is dirty, furniture is old and broken
A small cozy hotel with a sauna and an enclosed patio lined with roses and other flowers. We stayed in room 9 and were very satisfied. Air conditioning works great, clean, comfortable light, good bed linen, chic towels. The room has a kettle, cups, tea and water, shampoos, slippers, everything you need.
A solid five, and as usual, I give a detailed answer why such an assessment:
Yes, this is not the Burj Al Arab Dubai.
Yes, TVs are not with a floating quantum dot, but ordinary kinescope ones.
But! Room is clean! Small trifles such as tea and water are provided, therefore, after settling in, we did not have to run around Kyiv in the middle of the night in search of a drink. And in the morning too...

Great location in Kyiv. Very safe, quiet and peaceful, despite the central location. My room had a nice balcony to sit and have a coffee at. Room equipped with refrigerator, capsule machine and safety deposit box. Comfortable bed and overall well equipped room. Very friendly and service minded owners. I highly recommend!
Good room in a great location - walking distance to everything. The room is bigger than pictures portray and is quite comfortable. Love the old feeling. Good shower and decent breakfast. The point off is that the wifi consistently didn’t work even when we messaged for help to reset.
the room, breakfast and service is all fine. but some people next door to this small mini hotel switch the radio on very loud at 6 am. and it wakes you up. I wish the hotel could sort this out. if not these loud neighbours, I would stay there again, while in Kiev
Very nice place with perfect location. Clean and large rooms. Usually very quiet. Still insulation is not strong point. And as a booking genuine user didn't received any of welcome drink or late check out :) anyway the place is recommended with reasonable price.
Good inexpensive mini-hotel in the center. Located in a quiet side street in an old house with thick walls. Comfortable, clean room, very pleasant staff. Remained satisfied with everything.

A fantastic central place to stay during the war—ideal for connecting with others in the NGO space and sharing stories. It offers excellent value for money, with a wide variety of meals available and well-equipped shared facilities for those who prefer to self-cater. Guests can choose between private rooms or more affordable shared accommodation. During air raids, we often gathered together, singing...
This is a very impressive hostel. It's a beautiful building nestled into a courtyard. The staff were incredible. The private room with private bath was exceptional, it was hotel level comfort, at a very reasonable price. The on site restaurant is amazing, but I wish they kept the small seating area by the reception reserved for the hostel guests as a common area in the evening, because while the restaurant...
While I do agree that this is the best option for the price, there are some drawbacks worth mentioning. All rooms have a ventilation system that runs non-stop, and it makes a constant noise. If you're sensitive to sound, be prepared to feel like you're living next to a humming turbine. Of course, it’s not as bad as having noisy neighbors — if you're unlucky enough to have those — but it genuinely annoys...
Spacious Hostel with fully functional kitchen and regular active cleaning throughout the day. Front staff are very professional and friendly except one prejudiced lady complaining about nothing :)..in any case highly recommended
A very clean and tidy hostel. Everyone was very interested and the restaurant next to it has very delicious food. We had difficulties just because of check-in and check-out times. Check-in time is 3 p.m and the day is almost over in this season. Since the check-out time is 11 am, it does not compensate for the late check-in time.
Loved this place, of the 3 hostels this was my favorite. A few hiccups with booking but after that was resolved, I really enjoyed the location. It's close to lots if attractions, easy walking distance to many restaurants and shopping centers. The hostel has a kitchen with everything you need, a restaurant inside and help the whole time. I would stay here again.
Globe Runner Hostel completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful — they genuinely go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable and taken care of. The hostel is spotless, well organized, and feels safe and relaxed.

Great position, shame about the roadworks but will be good when completed. Room comfortable but had to turn down the heating. Will stay again next time.
It was great. Clean & friendly hostel in good location
I love the interior design, sophisticated loft style. There’s everything you need for a comfy stay either it is a dormitory or a single room. A pleasure to stay in a clean room, sleep on a big bed; the rooms aren’t small - even for crowded room you won’t be feeling in a tiny space, I like this decision not to save on room sizes. The receptionists are very helpful, thanks guys :)
I stayed here for the last part of my holiday and there are a few things to note. The dorm beds are very nice for a hostel and the beds themselves are comfy and the curtains are great, but the top one is too high for short people like me. Honestly, I had a very hard time always getting up there and at night I avoided getting down in case I needed it, because I didn't feel safe doing it in the dark...
We rented the Urban Quarters Apartment and were very satisfied. It was clean, stylish and had character and ambiance. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be returning. Our favorite aspect was our gorgeous balcony! great to sit and chat. The location is awesome, close to many restaurants, food shops etc.
Really pleasantly surprised. Thanks!

I liked it, if there was A/C I'd give it a 5 🌟!! 😉
The check in was pretty smooth eventhough the lady at the counter said i need to add 100 more for early check in which i dont understand since the bed was already available. Other than that, super clean centrally located towel provided clean bedding and super comfy bed!
Highly recommended 😊 Also very quiet which gives you all the privacy! AC in the room, hot water, good water pressure, clean kitchen...
I had to request one of the newer pods. The pods themselves are ok, and give good privacy. But the whole place was very hot, and it's a real hassle to do anything, like shower or go to toilet.
First time in one of these. Honestly, not bad if you know what you're getting yourself into. Would choose this over a regular hostel any day! If it wasn't for a mess at check in, four stars.
Pros = Very Clean, Great Air Conditioning, Comfortable furniture, Fantastic location
Cons = 1 or 2 members of staff have a really nasty aura around them. Like, a really bad vibe. It's very noticeable. I felt highly uncomfortable around one particular member of staff. There's something very nasty/off about her. She should have nothing to do with the public. I'd never ever come back. There's far better...
I was worried that it would be a noisy hotel but it was super quiet. The staff is very helpful and the place is very clean

Oh I had fun staying here. I was travelling solo. Rented my own single room here and was great. Very good price for 5 nights and lovely receptionist that stayed all night to make sure that place is safe. The majority of the staff speak passable English. A few speak it fluently. The rooms are clean, they have 2 western toilets, 2 squat toilets and 2 urinals. They have male & female shower rooms. They have a washing machine also. I stayed here on different occasions and had no problems. They will assist you with public transportation. The service is first rate.
It was super. The toilet and shower room were always cleaned
All the tools and equipment you can find in the kitchen
So organized
Good place for sleeping
Average prices
Internet is good
Location is very perfect, near from subway(metro) and center too
The receptionists were helpful & friendly
They were so Secretaries
If I have a chance to visit Kiev again, for sure I will be in gar’is hostel
Good place for good price. Ideal to stay here during a 3-4 days long city tour.
Feels a bit more like social housing than a hostel. Good location and cheap so there is that. Internet is fine.
The walls are very thin, people are very noisy till after midnight, always slamming doors. I’m not sure if they clean the toilets. Showers are fine with plenty of hot water. The overall place seems small and darker than pictured. Metro is close, which is nice. Would not stay here again.
When I came to the hostel the staff welcomed me very friendly and showed me around. When I entered my room I told them, that I can't sleep there. It was just too stinky. I was waiting for around one hour and they tried to find a solution. I got a single room for the first night without extra charge and the second night I paid the difference. Clean, Not bad for price and location, could use a bit of a refresh but good overall
Very convenient location and the station and the center nearby. The room was better than in the photo, has everything you need for living: wardrobe, slippers, shower cosmetics, hair dryer, refrigerator, TV, enough outlets (including by the bed). Quiet, cozy place with unobtrusive caring service. You can see beautiful views from the windows, I recommend staying here ☺️
best hostel i have ever stayed at, the hosts are very nice and gorgeous also, it’s the perfect place for people who wants to have few days in kyiv, it’s in the center of the city, literally everything is few steps away from you
I will give four three, however it can really varies depends on your expectation. So I will list some points of my experience. The location is really perfect, very close to the center, restaurants and metro station! However, it is located in a secundary street of the avenue, this street at first view looks a little strange, maybe not safe (But I did not have any problem even when I arrive at night...
We (3 friends) have been there on sunday. The girls at the reception are very friendly and could answer all our questions. The hostel is very familiar and nice. It is possible to store the bags till you have to go to the airport after checkout. Thanks again for everything!
Small hostel in the city center of Kiew. The entrance is not easy to find and you have to knock/bell that somebody opens your door. There is drinking water available - that’s a huge advantage (be careful with the tap water). Lockers are there (deposit required) as well as a good working WiFi. Unfortunately there is no cozy chill room and therefore not to much opportunity to talk to other tourists....
I stayed a few nights in this wonderful hostel during my trip to Kiev. This place is very welcoming and happy. The room and the common areas were sparklingly clean and the whole atmosphere was great. The location is also unbeatable! You step outside and you’re in the heart of the city. Highly recommend Friends Forever for all the travelers!
