We arrived late in the evening, although the check-in was before 20:00, it was not a problem. The room is perfectly clean, beds and bed linen are comfortable for rest after a long journey. The location is picturesque, quiet on the banks of the Dnieper. Recommend for a stop. I often visit Kiev, I will stay in this place in the future.

The rooms are clean and nice looking, the staff is also polite. But I didn’t like the fact that there was only one socket in the room and, for example, my room didn’t even have a shower curtain, so it was very easy to flood the floor. The hotel itself is good, the reason it's above a lot of other hotels in kyiv is the staff. They are friendly and helpful. Especially the staff at the ground floor bar, you couldn't ask for better service.

Best value for the buck in central kiev .I've been staying at this hotel a few times a year over past 6 years and they offer nice hotel rooms and service for reasonably inexpensive prices. Standard hotel. Location is fantastic. However, quite outdated in all aspects within the establishment. Not a negative experience, actually quite enjoyed it - its just not worth the "stars" its been granted as a hotel nor the price. Perhaps in the 80s, but in 2021 its very outdated. Would go back for the location alone.

The place is located in the best location for tourists visiting places. It has AC and elevators. It seems old building but it was well maintained.

Hotel Ukraine is an awesome place. It might not have all the perks and modern looks of an international chain hotel. But it definitely has a different take and an authentic soviet luxury appeal. It’s 100% worth the experience for a relatively low price.

If you want a random well priced Ukrainian experience where you find random things like butter in the fire cupboard or abandoned floors in the hotel this is the place for you. It needs to be refurbished. Some construction works is being already done around the building. Taxi drivers do not have a clear spot for pick-up and drop-off. Elevators with the card keys behave different one from another, doors quite worn-out, I am not big, but the shower cabin was very narrow, I kept beating off my elbows. Bed was fine, Internet connection ok. Generally good to stay one night.

I usually stay at this hotel when I am in Kiev, it is right next to the Darnitsa metro station so you can easily get on the metro and in 15-20 minutes you can be almost anywhere in Kiev. Rooms are nice, good quality, same as in USA or major European city and the price is reasonable. I recommend this hotel

The room is like, no Slippers, room cleaning superficial as ever. Towels changed 1 time, and it is only large, the others are nicely hung. The balcony was covered in cigarette butts. Breakfast is not much. With the elevators at all the confusion and creak terribly.

An impressive hotel building close to Maidan (independence square), a few minutes walk. Also near the cable car that takes you down to Podil area next to the river. All the facilities are very nice and modern, rooms had everything you could need (and I was given a room with great view of St Michael's Cathedral), and staff were friendly and helpful. My only two complaints were that during this stay they put me in a standard room instead of a deluxe, but this did get sorted out. The upstairs bar was closed and the gym was only open for certain hours for the first week apparently due to some sheikh staying at the hotel...

While this hotel is categorised as 3-stars, it could easily pass for 4-stars. The room is comfortable, well insulated, and generally quiet. Opera is a good option if you need a unfussy, friendly hotel CV in a nice leafy, quiet and cool neighbourhood of Kyiv. The staff are great and super helpful. Thought the spa was excellent too. I spent 8 days in August 2021 in this hotel, the welcome is warm very good service the activities in the sport are well maintained and equipped except if there are 2 devices mounted upside down and for the pool and sauna is a magnificent place except for those who will find it a little dark but very discreet. It was quite and secure hotel to stay, but they should do their cleaning service better. Accomodation price was reasonable. Breakfast service was nice, but they should improve the quality and increase type of the food.

Brilliant hotel visited a few years ago on my 2nd visit to kyiv. And I can't wait to visit again in the future. Staff were brilliant, and my room was amazing and spotlessly clean. I had a room with a balcony onto the river, which was beautiful and peaceful sitting on my balcony watching the world go by. Nice and easy to get a taxi into the town centre, highly recommend
