I was so excited to visit but the decor even though a bit aged it was stunning and honestly that was the only good thing about the hotel. The staff not superfriendly. The cleanliness of the room was horrible. The non functioning spa bath was not very clean with bits of hair in it. The toilet was not clean. When I lifted the seat there was stale urine under it. A real Hepatitis B hazard. The floor was dirty and damaged. The room was not wiped as stains from previous client on the desk. This hotel definitely stunning witj a great location but definitely a biohazard.One night was too many in this hotel

I stayed over there with my mum on at the start of March and I can confidently say we will not be returning there ever again. The rooms smell of cigarettes and dampness and the windows don’t open so you can’t even get fresh air in. The sink leaks and there’s mould all over the bathroom floor you can’t even walk in there without your shoes on. We had booked two twin beds and in one of the bed there was a lighter inside the sheets which led me to believe that the bedding wasn’t changed properly. There wasn’t any water in the room and tried calling reception but no one answers it says to send message and that doesn’t get a reply either. The room was so dirty and the toilet wasn’t clean either I didn’t even want to shower in there. The breakfast was nice can’t complain there but they really need to work on the rooms it is just unacceptable because it ruins the experience. For the price you are paying it’s just not worth it.

If your mum has “Live, Laugh, Love” tat in her house, she’ll love this! Sadly I found the rooms a bit tacky. I’ll admit it wasn’t my selection and had I seen the photos, wouldn’t of booked here. Still, we gave it a try.

We stayed in the large suite room with bathtub. The room was freezing on arrival, no A/C remote. Plug in radiator by the bed. And my lord, the first thing you notice is the intense smell. They absolutely need better ventilation by the bathtub as it is making the whole room stink of mould. I suspect it was coming from the carpet.

No one offered to trolley our luggage to the room, despite seeing them available in reception. Receptionist was friendly. Entrance and foodhall are well presented (but with those tacky chairs!). Probably wouldn’t stay here again, it just felt like luxury meets B&M tat. Not my style.

When we got there the receptionist programmed the wrong room into our key so we accidentally went into an occupied room. We then had to change rooms as the first room we were booked into was cold and damp. The 2nd room was better but did have a lot of mould the walls around the windows. Otherwise it was a nice place to stay and the breakfast was good

we were upgraded to a bigger room in the basement with hot tub . it was enormous but the problem is we cannot sleep because of the exit light sign in the bedroom and the fridge they were constantly on. i brought the matter to the reception to ask if they can switch off the light but nothing has been resolved. for a room that can accommodate more than 10 people there should be at least two bathroom and toilet. but theres only one so we are five in the room and need to wait for someone to finish before you can use it. thats the only problem i had in the hotel .

Room great, hottub brilliant and Barman was fantastic, gave us happy hour prices (out of hours) and my wife a gin glass of wine.

Only issue was breakfast. With over an hour of service to go, they ran out of hot food on the buffet and didn’t bring more out.

Hello,
I booked a table for a party of 12 at Sultan's Palace yesterday evening.We were greeted by a lovely lady from Netherley who proceeded to look after us with great charm and professional skill which together with the excellent food served up made for a most enjoyable evening.I was already a satisfied customer at this restaurant and I look forward to me next visit to Sultan's Palace whilst recommending my friends to do likewise.

Nice staff but this is not an Indian restaurant. Plain tasting food with no flavour, pre-boiled chicken and beef (pretended to be lamb) mixed with "indian" sauces, not the slightest bit better than a take-away from Aldi (no offence) at 1.99

One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable. The quantity and quality of the food is good and prices are fine. It is worth a visit and whenever I come back to Liverpool I'll consider to step in here again!

Hadn't been here in probably about 10 years as it was average back then. Made up that I came back tho, it's had a big refurbishment at some point and looks great. We had a sharing starter, pasta main and desert and couldn't fault any bit of the food. Some tasty cocktails and homemade lemonade available too. I will be going back and taking my friends and family. Reasonably priced too.

After hearing good things about the restaurant I decided to try for myself upon arrival I saw that the staff were very busy so was asked to take a seat fair enough however the seat was by a door being wedged open by a chair. This being a wet windy cold night was a bit ridiculous. Once sat down our waitress sauntered over with obvious disdain in her eyes. We ordered drinks and starters promptly they arrived shortly so far so good I looked across at my gf to see tears in her eyes due to the immense amount of smoke. Eating our meal starters I noticed that with each taste I was getting a burned taste due to the constant smell of burning it ruined the whole meal for us. Just a quick apology about the kitchen ventilation would of been nice and I would of understood but nope nothing the waitress was very complimentary to another couple but basically ignored us due to the fact that she knew them. I still tipped as I work in the hospitality industry myself but was not impressed at all.

Great little restaurant in Liverpool. The staff are Really helpful and friendly and great with children. The food is delicious and what I would expect to pay. Seemed busy mid afternoon but our food came in good time and the staff looked after us. Never disappointed when I go to an Ask restaurant.
