The facilities are new and the environment is great. It's very convenient, close to the mall, subway station, and train station.

Everything was indeed good, quite clean.

Lovely hotel, clean and spacious rooms. Had a room overlooking the railway to start which was a bit noisy but the reception staff were great and moved me to a quieter room.
Only negative is that for a hotel like this you don’t expect to pay for bottled water or if you’ve got breakfast included to pay for anything other than filter coffee.

The staff members are very helpful and friendly. The room is comfortable.

My stay started off reasonably well, but the second night turned into a very frustrating experience.
After my first night (booked via Marriott APP), I decided to extend my stay via Trip.com (which resulted in being assigned a different room), as overall the hotel seemed acceptable, though there were some minor issues in the room — for example, the faucet was loose, and the toilet made noise when sitting on it (to the point where I was slightly concerned it might not be properly secured). Breakfast was à la carte and tasted decent.
However, the second night was extremely unpleasant.
When I was about to go to sleep, I noticed black marks/stains on the bed sheets, which made me uncomfortable. I called the front desk, and was told that housekeeping had already finished for the day, so there was no one available to change the bedding and no immediate solution offered.
When I asked what could be done, I was told that clean sheets could be brought to me — which implied that I would have to change them myself. Only after I questioned this did the staff offer to move me to another room.
Shortly after, the staff came to my room and informed me that I would need to pack all my belongings and move to another room on a different floor immediately. I was also told that I could not leave my belongings in the original room. As she was the only staff member on duty, I had to handle all packing and moving myself.
This happened at around 2:00 AM.
I was genuinely shocked. Based on my past experiences with Marriott International hotels, the usual approach in such situations is to allow the guest to move to a new room to rest first, and pack belongings the next morning — especially at such a late hour.
What concerned me most was not just the inconvenience, but the response. When I tried to explain why this arrangement was unreasonable, the staff focused solely on the fact that she was the only person on duty, rather than acknowledging the impact on the guest.
The following morning at checkout, I raised this issue with the front desk. I received a rather expressionless apology, along with an explanation that she belive it was a “miscommunication.” This response felt dismissive and failed to address the core problem.
Obviously, there are issues in:
• Hotel management (only one staff member on duty overnight)
• Service policies (no proper solution when basic room issues occur)
• Staff training (lack of customer-oriented problem handling)

The hotel is new and the room design is modern. I really liked the bar area in the lobby downstairs and the Christmas decorations. It's right next to the train station, with a large shopping mall nearby, and the parking lot next to it is very cheap.

This is a great hotel! The room was super clean, perfect for a solo traveler. It's right next to the Westfield shopping center, which is massive. Plus, the transportation is really convenient; King's Cross Station is just one train stop away.

Healthy alternative to the nearby outposts. Got a wrap that hit the spot perfectly!

The food was alright but felt abit rip off with the prices and portion value, the lamb curry needed to be heated up so that did took awhile but it was cold the first time...had to go back and ask them to reheat it, if you got abit extra more money and dont mind the walk I suggest going upstairs where they are little bit better they serve better curry there
30.05.2017 Frank
shouldn't even be allowed to serve Caribbean food that taste that bad ( not even worth eating for free)
18.04.2017 Jade
I had a chicken patty - the flavour was okay, but a distinct lack of filling. They look a decent size, but it's all pastry.

Worst Carribean food I've ever tasted . Plantain were disgusting , fried in dirty oil . Roti smelt horrible and had clearly been frozen previously . Jerk chicken quarter was a leg and a lil extra covered in a watery sauce. First and last time I eat from this place . Not Carribean at all wasted my money as it all went in the bin .

The door staff really need a shake up as every time I go in, they either deny me entry or start acting funny. I have NEVER caused any trouble in there but they always seem to think because I have had a couple of drinks beforehand, that I might start something.

On one occasion one of the security guards started mocking me behind his managers back, trying to get a reaction out of me which is completely unacceptable.

On another occasion, one of the guys kept falsifying his reasons for denying my friend entry but then would not turn on his body cam when asked to do so, he knew I was going to complain which is why he didn't turn it on.

Don't get me started on the bar staff, the new guy once insisted I get in an imaginary line as he couldn't handle the orders.

Seriously, sort your staff out because one day, they'll pick on the wrong guy. People are coming in to spend money and have a good time, don't ruin it for us.

Hopefully, this place will fix up or close down.

Avoid this casino

The men's toilets are shocking here, obviously I will not go into details but let's say I'm happy u hadn't just eaten.

I informed a staff member who said they would take if it. I went back an hour later and it was worse.

The management really don't know what they are doing when they have an Ideal location, good bar but then don't respect their clients enough to give them clean wash rooms.

I've been here on a number of occasions and this has always been the case.

If management would like to get in contact please feel free, my name is Jager Singh. You have my contact details in your system.

Unfriendly, inhospitable, uncomfortable and a rip off. With the exception of one or two, the staff were absolutely miserable. Obviously the customers were in their minds just those annoying things that come in all the time disturbing them and getting in the way. Went to the bar ourselves as the valets took forever to come and take an order and even longer to bring it. Paid for soft drinks and coffee a number of times only to find out that they should be complementary for members. The staff member who pointed that out wanted to know which members of staff did that so they could be reported; couldn't remember and don't care as the chance that I will ever go again is almost non-existent. I have been in casino's all over the world you can give this one a miss without a second thought.

More like an amusement arcade than a casino given the number of video slots. There are table games but very few tables, mainly roulette and if you like classics such as blackjack and three card then you'll struggle to get a game as these tables are few and far between. Plus their ATMs charge you £1.50 for a cash withdrawal which is nothing when you're on a night out but a bit cheeky given that the money is only likely to be spent in the casino. On weekends it gets a bit rowdy with big groups who have the tendency to get a tad over excited.
29.10.2017 David
I think some of the maximum stakes are quite low, compared to the other London casinos, but anyway the poker room seems to get quite busy so good for big games if that’s your thing. My reason for the 1star is the amount of times what must be the ‘drinks police’ come over and ban people from alcohol just because they cheer when they win. I felt really sorry for a guy who got told by this woman that he needed to be banned from drinking after cheering a £25 win on a perfect pair!! Honestly I couldn’t believe it...appreciate that responsible gambling and drinking needs to be considered but it is supposed to be a happy place... there needs to be proper consideration and training to those with these positions to gauge what is drunk behaviour compared to someone who has had a couple to relax and unwind..

First of all the restaurant was freezing, myself and many other guest were sitting at the table in coats, maybe there was a fault with the heating system at the time but the waiters mentioned nothing.

The food was pretty poor, and that's being conservative, I'd say the food is on par if not lower than a up market microwave meal.

Staff not overly friendly, made us want to eat and leave due to the hostile atmosphere.

Overall, pretty poor experience and I certainly wont be returning.

How Jamie Oliver will put his name to this service and food quality is beyond me. It’s worthy of Gordon Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares.
The steak was the most bland, over cooked piece of leather I’ve ever eaten. It was a cheap, thin slice of frying steak. With 50 minutes between the starter and the mains. I would possibly understand if the restaurant was busy, but I believe we were the only people in there.
AVOID.

Fresh ingredients and flavorful dishes, amazing two course lunch deals (~gbp13) with nice choices of appetizers such as mussels. My go-to chain Italian restaurant in London.
19.11.2017 soulchild04
Normally I love this place. But this time steak was very chewy (you pay 3 Pounds more for the steak in the lunch set). Lunchset is about 12 Pounds consisting of one starter and one main dish. You can optionally add a dessert for 3 Pounds too.
This time also the taste of the main pasta cucumber oil linguine was also a bit boring.
Maybe wrong choice of The main dishes. Try the other ones.
The starters were good. Truffle oil linguine were aldente. The seafood fries with guacamole delicious. And the sweet potato fries you should give it a try. They are delicious too .

All in all this time not that satisfying. But I had good times before in Jamie's. So I would recommend. If anything is wrong with the dishes you can always tell them and they will try to satisfy you. The service is always very nice people quite friendly. We got free coffees to go cause we left the steak.

First time to a Jamie's restaurant and I doubt we will return, which makes me sad.

We had the lunch 2 course menu at 4pm.

Pros - Kids eat free! That was great. The kids menu had healthier choices than any I'd seen, which is really great.
The staff were very busy but very friendly and nice.
Nice toilets... Great to see some modern Crapper Co Ltds in action! My daughter was highly amused.

Cons - Food was really average. They used bowls for bits and they were about a quarter food which is an error on appearing stingy. My aubergine pasta had 4 small bits of aubergine, so was basically a bowl of pasta with tomato sauce.
Flavours were nice for some dishes but one dimensional for others. We are no foodies, but this was just average stuff, which was a real shame.
Drinks were hit and miss. Had the same drink as my brother. Mine was 3/4 full and his had about double the sugar. Very odd.
