Reviews
Only negative is that for a hotel like this you don’t expect to pay for bottled water or if you’ve got breakfast included to pay for anything other than filter coffee.
Love the hotel, love the ambiance.
Clean, the bed sleeps wonderfull, pillows are good.
The service is top tier
After my first night (booked via Marriott APP), I decided to extend my stay via Trip.com (which resulted in being assigned a different room), as overall the hotel seemed acceptable, though there were some minor issues in the room — for example, the faucet was loose, and the toilet made noise when sitting on it (to the point where I was slightly concerned it might not be properly secured). Breakfast was à la carte and tasted decent.
However, the second night was extremely unpleasant.
When I was about to go to sleep, I noticed black marks/stains on the bed sheets, which made me uncomfortable. I called the front desk, and was told that housekeeping had already finished for the day, so there was no one available to change the bedding and no immediate solution offered.
When I asked what could be done, I was told that clean sheets could be brought to me — which implied that I would have to change them myself. Only after I questioned this did the staff offer to move me to another room.
Shortly after, the staff came to my room and informed me that I would need to pack all my belongings and move to another room on a different floor immediately. I was also told that I could not leave my belongings in the original room. As she was the only staff member on duty, I had to handle all packing and moving myself.
This happened at around 2:00 AM.
I was genuinely shocked. Based on my past experiences with Marriott International hotels, the usual approach in such situations is to allow the guest to move to a new room to rest first, and pack belongings the next morning — especially at such a late hour.
What concerned me most was not just the inconvenience, but the response. When I tried to explain why this arrangement was unreasonable, the staff focused solely on the fact that she was the only person on duty, rather than acknowledging the impact on the guest.
The following morning at checkout, I raised this issue with the front desk. I received a rather expressionless apology, along with an explanation that she belive it was a “miscommunication.” This response felt dismissive and failed to address the core problem.
Obviously, there are issues in:
• Hotel management (only one staff member on duty overnight)
• Service policies (no proper solution when basic room issues occur)
• Staff training (lack of customer-oriented problem handling)

On one occasion one of the security guards started mocking me behind his managers back, trying to get a reaction out of me which is completely unacceptable.
On another occasion, one of the guys kept falsifying his reasons for denying my friend entry but then would not turn on his body cam when asked to do so, he knew I was going to complain which is why he didn't turn it on.
Don't get me started on the bar staff, the new guy once insisted I get in an imaginary line as he couldn't handle the orders.
Seriously, sort your staff out because one day, they'll pick on the wrong guy. People are coming in to spend money and have a good time, don't ruin it for us.
Hopefully, this place will fix up or close down.
The men's toilets are shocking here, obviously I will not go into details but let's say I'm happy u hadn't just eaten.
I informed a staff member who said they would take if it. I went back an hour later and it was worse.
The management really don't know what they are doing when they have an Ideal location, good bar but then don't respect their clients enough to give them clean wash rooms.
I've been here on a number of occasions and this has always been the case.
If management would like to get in contact please feel free, my name is Jager Singh. You have my contact details in your system.

The food was pretty poor, and that's being conservative, I'd say the food is on par if not lower than a up market microwave meal.
Staff not overly friendly, made us want to eat and leave due to the hostile atmosphere.
Overall, pretty poor experience and I certainly wont be returning.
The steak was the most bland, over cooked piece of leather I’ve ever eaten. It was a cheap, thin slice of frying steak. With 50 minutes between the starter and the mains. I would possibly understand if the restaurant was busy, but I believe we were the only people in there.
AVOID.
This time also the taste of the main pasta cucumber oil linguine was also a bit boring.
Maybe wrong choice of The main dishes. Try the other ones.
The starters were good. Truffle oil linguine were aldente. The seafood fries with guacamole delicious. And the sweet potato fries you should give it a try. They are delicious too .
All in all this time not that satisfying. But I had good times before in Jamie's. So I would recommend. If anything is wrong with the dishes you can always tell them and they will try to satisfy you. The service is always very nice people quite friendly. We got free coffees to go cause we left the steak.
We had the lunch 2 course menu at 4pm.
Pros - Kids eat free! That was great. The kids menu had healthier choices than any I'd seen, which is really great.
The staff were very busy but very friendly and nice.
Nice toilets... Great to see some modern Crapper Co Ltds in action! My daughter was highly amused.
Cons - Food was really average. They used bowls for bits and they were about a quarter food which is an error on appearing stingy. My aubergine pasta had 4 small bits of aubergine, so was basically a bowl of pasta with tomato sauce.
Flavours were nice for some dishes but one dimensional for others. We are no foodies, but this was just average stuff, which was a real shame.
Drinks were hit and miss. Had the same drink as my brother. Mine was 3/4 full and his had about double the sugar. Very odd.
