Great location. Room is decorated to a poor standard and nothing works. Plug sockets don’t work, shower fastening fell off in my hand and there was no side tables at the beds. It was cleanish but the bathroom had a bad sewage smell which got worse. Obvious the rooms had been put together in the very cheap

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority. The room was very dirty, with visible grime and an overall neglected feel that made it uncomfortable to even settle in. The decor was equally disappointing—poorly done and outdated, giving the entire place a run-down atmosphere rather than anything remotely welcoming. Basic amenities were either broken or missing altogether. The shower, for example, didn’t even have a proper stand as it had snapped off, making it awkward and frustrating to use. To make matters worse, we were not provided with essentials like towels or pillows, which is simply unacceptable for any hotel stay. Having to chase up such basic items completely ruined any chance of a relaxing visit. Overall, this hotel fell far below even the most basic standards. I would not recommend staying here to anyone.

Absolutely awful. My daughter booked this for my Christmas treat to see a show, not seeing the reviews from Trip Advisor. Thought we would give it the benefit of the doubt, but it failed itself on every level, and we had to stay elsewhere. Other than not meeting 'superior double' status, being dirty, and not providing towels big enough to actually use, the furniture was shabby, the reception was unprofessional, and the worst part- the smoke alarm was covered with a plastic bag! Health and safety would have a field day! I tried to recover my money through both the hotel and *********** but it was a futile effort. Lesson learned.

I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. Check-in was smooth and easy, and my room was lovely- clean, relatively spacious, with a great bathroom and a very comfy bed. I agree the hotel can be a bit noisy, but it honestly didn’t bother me. I was on the first floor, and the reception staff kindly carried my bag up for me, which I really appreciated. They also catered for a late check-out, which was a bonus. Also GREAT location.

An awful experience. Bathroom - cracked tiles, dirt on the floor, shower that took 30 minutes to drain. ***** hairs and the water pressure was a trickle Could not use the toilet because it had a pump/ macerator that sounded like a motorbike. Mattresses were stained and one was so broken it was hard not to roll off. Only one light in the room and the switch was by the door. Chipped mugs Kettle did not fit under the tap We paid for 4 nights, and left after 1 night! Staircase to get to rooms is scary with a low railing and a long drop

We've booked another hotel for our stay but two days before our arrival we received a message from the management that there are maintenance being done and they're going to change the hotel to one of their sister hotels, The Chapter Hotels. The experience was horrible! On our first day we arrived at the hotel in the evening and found the door of our hotel room open. The next day we found staff missing from our room. We spoke to the person at the reception who claimed that he's the manager and he accused us that we're making things up. With an arrogant tone he told us that there's nothing he can do from his end. Apart from that, pillows and mattresses weren't comfortable at all.

Very comfortable clean and good amenities. Lovely kind staff and great location .our room backed onto some construction work so to be mindful of this if that’s something that would bother you but that was only in working hours as expected so caused no problems for us. Would definitely reccomend and be returning .

Great place, but watch out for three things: 1 - under 18s aren't allowed in after 7pm. 2 - curling sessions only last 40 minutes. 3 - bowling alley has short lanes. Food in Meat Liquor is great.

The session times have been shortened and prices raised. Some of the staff do not treat their customers with respect or dignity.

Update: Haven't been there a while. Most of the staff are actually really nice, just one or two meanies. Judging by their website, it seems like they've gone with their old ways partly, with lower prices and longer sessions. Thank you!

Had a fabulous day! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming! I had really great ice skating morning! Ice skates are sharper, better fit than some other places I have tried in the last years. Great quality ice surface too! Definitely recommend and we will be back for more!

It was an okay establishment. The staff were neither here nor there and it was a little overpriced. I enjoyed the time I spent there, but couldn't help but feel that it would've been more pleasant if the staff could crack a smile. The activities they had there are really quite fun and I enjoyed the ice skating a lot. Would be willing to go again? Probably

Food and drinks were brilliant and so much to do here from ice skating, go karting on ice, bowling and good selection of arcade games! Staff couldn't have been any more helpful! Was one of the most unique places I've gone to in a long time.

We visited the restaurant at 8pm on a Saturday, but the restaurant was very quiet - only two other tables had customers. The setup, furniture, and everything else in the restaurant was well kept and looked quite pretty.

We were slow to be served, and the waitress failed to make me feel comfortable. My date and I had planned to only get a main at this restaurant and go elsewhere for dessert, but the waitress offered us starters anyway because of the time our burgers would take to cook - this surprised me considering we were only 1 of 3 customers in the whole restaurant!

The food arrived in good time and was of average presentation, and slightly above average on flavour. Considering the price tag, we were expecting a lot more all round.

They seemed very reluctant to give us the bill. Then when we eventually received it, we discovered that a service charge was already included at over 12%! We were not impressed by this at all as we felt the waitress had not deserved that amount, and it was not advertised anywhere beforehand that the charge would be automatically added.

We went to the adjoining bar afterwards, but the bartender was so rude and disinterested that we left without ordering anything.

Brilliant service and food. We had the tasting board, it was very good and big enough for two. But make sure you save space for the desert, some really good pasteries.

Most waiting staff were really nice, the food flavoursome. Worth the £16 (incl.) cost as a visitor..I try it instead of the usual joints..not disappointed.

REALLY NEED TO AVOID. Bad food, especially the roast duck specialty, rude staffs who want to kick you out and ripe off another customer. Shame on you Four Seasons! How bad can a restaurant get? They dont like little babies too. Donate your money to a homeless person instead spending money here. It is so bad and disgusting. I gave it a five stars on purpose so people can read this review. i want to give it a no star if i could.

Very average Chinese. Looks reasonably plush, service was quick and friendly unfortunately the food was distinctly average. Certainly not horrible, but dishes I had were a bit tasteless.

I love roast duck and crispy pork. A waiter has a good service mind. Beware of bloody expensive still mineral water.

The chicken dish was the worst dish which had very little meat and was chewy however having said that the rest of their dishes was good and better than most places..

we had the whole duck boned which was very good.

Over all a good experience... don't expect amazing service as it seems like most old school places, it's not something they focus highly on.
