Park Avenue Bayswater Inn Hyde Park in London

I read the reviews only after I booked the room which made me worried. However I was on the first floor and thankfully did not encounter the problems with mice as per the other reviews.

However I do like to point out that the rooms are not like what was shown on the photo. They are way smaller and less appealing. I was shocked when I first went in hence the lower rating. It was not at all a bad room, just misrepresented in the images. The sheets were clean otherwise , heating worked, bathroom clean.

Service was also good. I spilled coffee on my bed and the staff were kind enough to organise free cleaning immediately eventhough their policy is to only clean once every 5 days. I needed cutleries and they promptly provided me with some as well.

Overall, for the price you pay I think it is worth the money if you just want to sleep in an extremely convenient location. It may not be luxurios compared to other hotels but it's money well spent if you get the room at a decent price.

Disappointed, a four star hotel apparently. Staff ignored me when looking for my booking, issue due to names been mixed around. Within half an hour of been in the room there is someone coming in to finish preparing the room for guests.
Unfortunately our room was opposite the lift, a bit of soundproofing to that room would be ideal. Cleanliness of the room. Hairs and toiletries from previous occupants, shower dont close properly and the whole place was missing tlc. Tv no reception in room less one channel. Couple of photos for evidence. Room service qr code let's you do food but nothing else as advertised.

Location wise ok about ten mins from tube station and food places.

I had a very disappointing experience with Bayswater Inn, not because of one mistake, but because of how it was handled afterward.
During my stay, I ordered food to the hotel. The delivery service later provided photo proof that the order was delivered to the reception desk, yet the food was never brought to my room and effectively went missing. Despite this, hotel staff initially denied receiving it.
I contacted the hotel multiple times with evidence and was told the issue would be escalated and that the General Manager would call me the following morning. That call never happened. I received no follow-up, no explanation, and no resolution unless I continued to chase them myself.
This left me without food for an extended period late at night and forced me to spend time repeatedly contacting staff just to be heard. A simple reimbursement for food I never received turned into a drawn-out, frustrating experience due to poor internal communication and lack of accountability.
The location is convenient, but customer service and management follow-through are severely lacking. If something goes wrong during your stay, be prepared to advocate hard for yourself.
They didn’t even refund me for my food at the end, Trip.com had to step in and refund me from their own expenses. If I could give it a lower rating I definitely would.
