The reception team were friendly at check in, and I was given a beautiful tin of truffles and some drinks vouchers (maybe as a diamond member?). This was really a special touch and appreciated.

However the room itself wasn’t great. I’ve stayed in quite a few London hotels so know you don’t get lots of space and for 1 night you don’t need much, but this room was so small it was a struggle to move about.
The air conditioning was on but it was weak. Thankfully the window opened slightly but it remained warm in the room.
Bathroom was dated, quite small and felt cheap.
Minor point but the pillows and duvet didn’t feel like the usual Hilton ones, they seemed thicker…

Overall, it was clean, relatively quiet and had great service which is all that’s really needed, but it felt more of a budget hotel with Hilton price tag.
I do think they are doing everything they can to make stays as good as possible, since they can’t really do anything about the room sizes.

Checked in to hilton 3 times this trip and was attended to by a Mr H**** at this hotel. Comparatively speaking, check in this time wasn't great. Didn't feel welcomed at all.

Ordered Mac n cheese as only had 3 choices to pick from when I called at 2230 even though it says menu listed is 24/7 and had a lot more on it but not available.Said £6.50 on menu and at check out they said it was £16.50 and a £5 tray charge! £21.50 in total for what is pictured and a below average version. Wont be doing that again. Also stayed for 4 nights and daughters room wasnt cleaned on the 3rd night or mine on the last.Over priced for what you get.

Excellent location, near Westfield shopping mall and Shepherd Bush train station.
Very convenient location

I’ll be honest — my stay at Hilton Kensington did not meet my expectations. While the staff were generally polite, the hotel itself feels dated and in need of a proper renovation. The layout and use of space are inefficient, which affects overall comfort and flow, especially for a brand carrying the Hilton name.

That said, Luke was truly the highlight of the stay. Professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful — he made a noticeable difference and deserves recognition.

With refurbishment and better space planning, this property could improve significantly. Until then, it falls short of what I would normally expect from Hilton.

This hotel feels stuck in the past and is clearly designed only for quick overnight stays. While things move fast and the basics technically work, that’s about the only positive. The rooms are outdated, worn, and lack any sense of comfort or modernization. Furnishings feel old, and the overall atmosphere is tired and uninspiring. It’s fine if you just need a place to crash and leave as soon as possible, but don’t expect quality, updates, or a pleasant stay beyond bare functionality.

This is my go-to hotel whenever I'm in London for business. Given how expensive London can be, it's quite a large property, and the price definitely fits within our company's overseas expense policy. It's conveniently located, just a five to six-minute walk from the nearest tube station. The rooms are quite spacious for London standards, though they don't compare to a Hilton in China. The facilities are a bit dated but well-maintained, although the bathroom is on the smaller side. The front desk staff are really friendly, and there's a lovely festive atmosphere during the Christmas season. They also provide two complimentary bottles of mineral water daily.

Very interesting

Pros:
- Decently sized, standard layout and comfortable rooms.
- Rooms are quite clean, service in general was nothing too special but gets the job done!
- Convenient location near buses and metro to Central London / Oxford for a day trip, close to Westfield London which has great number of F&B outlets, supermarkets and shops.

Cons:
- Housekeeping was inconsistent; stayed for 6 days, everyday was missing something different, not being replenished in the room; could be tea, coffee, hand towels, tissue paper, toilet paper etc… had to keep calling for service every night throughout the stay. If housekeeping had set up the room in standard, hassle could be alleviated from all parties as it takes the housekeeping more than 20 minutes every time to bring the items.
- Both toilet paper rolls were removed unexpectedly one night, even when we certainly left the room with them both in the morning which I find a bit funny as there wasn’t even a need to replenish - but simply removed.
- Clock timing was incorrect 6 days throughout the stay and nobody clocked that nor changed it.
- Slight wear and tear in the room but nothing too major affecting our stay apart from the bathtub glass panel seam being broken and water kept coming out of the shower.
- Emergency alarms went off at 730AM with no explanation.
- There was daily construction noise and one day the workers and equipments were all outside our room for a good 4 hours in the morning to afternoon time. Again, I don’t blame it because maintenance is important but a notice would be nice.

Overall, I think the hotel gets its job done, the room and location were decent and comfortable. It’s the housekeeping and maintenance fell below expectations.
