Crowne Plaza London - Docklands by IHG in London

We have just come home from a last minute two night stay at the Crown Plaza. We like to take the children to London for days out and often book another hotel in the Docklands area but tried the Crown Plaza for a change as it had a pool and a slightly better room set up for us (plus parking) and we were so pleased we did. We loved it! We initially booked a Superior Double (two double beds in a room) for one night for myself, husband and two boys aged 7&4. When we checked in we were given an upgrade to a suite (I’ve never had an upgrade before) and it totally made the whole trip! We had so much room, the boys were so excited to see the room and the view was brilliant. We woke up the next morning and decided to see if they had availability for us to stay an extra night and they did. All the staff were so friendly and helpful.
We really enjoyed going swimming too. The restaurant were also able to accommodate a request for a bowl of plain pasta for a fussy eater which saved the day as well.
We will definitely be back!

A very accommodating hotel, would highly recommend! The only downside was the price was slightly extortionate for what they offer, however, the staff were very friendly & helpful.

The breakfast options were limited but the staff were friendly, moreover the gym & pool facilities are handy if you’d like to treat yourself. Security is always on site for parking etc at the hotel, however, the barrier often glitches out and parking for a day is £25 which is just excessive.

09/02/26 - This was a two night stay for a weekend with family. We were checked in by Muritha who was charming and checked out by Elizabet who had a beautiful smile on her face. The family toom had x2 double beds and was perfect. Housekeeping staff helped changed my daughters sheets when she had a nosebleed during the night - fantastic service! Breakfast buffet was in abundance, fresh, clean and tidy, plates removed timeously and again staff were exceptional. Finally, the swimming pool and sauna were FANTASTIC. Best sauna I've ever visited. Jacuzzi was small but the whole weekend was Brilliant

I Highly recommed this hotel, we had an amazing stay , the staff were so friendly and helpful and we had a surprise upgrade and bottle of fizz for my boyfriend’s birthday. The spa staff were very helpful and you can use the pool/steam room amenities before and after check in/out. They provide towels too.
The breakfast was delicious so much choice. The DLR station is less than 5 mins away and there are some lovely restaurants all within minutes of the hotel & there’s a Tesco extra just along the road . The cable car is literally across the road and takes you straight to the O2. Amazing stay , fantastic views of the docklands and will definitely be back .

The place was spot on went to see Radiohead and it was amazing.

We spent 5 wonderful nights at this hotel, 3 people at the end of December. In addition to the very good location, with an extraordinary view, we were impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the apartment and especially the friendliness, kindness and attention with which we were greeted and treated by the staff during our stay. The place where the meal was served was also well-equipped, airy, with diversified food and prompt and attentive staff to requests. We had the pleasure of meeting the hotel's director who was always among people very jovial and attentive to tourists. I was really impressed by the gesture of the dance on Christmas Day when at breakfast he personally offered a glass of prosecco to all those who came to the table. Mr. Federico, esteem, this is how customers appreciate you. Knowing other employees (Adriana and Lili) with whom I interacted, I can say that they exceeded our expectations. However, I have only one regret, that we could not enjoy the hotel's swimming pool and SPA facilities due to our busy schedule; I will definitely not miss them on a future return. My conclusion: I highly recommend this hotel for everything it offers.

We picked here mainly as it was close thd the O2, with just a cable car ride away.
Fantastic experience. Gaya was very welcoming and brilliant with our boy, making sure he was included at all times.
The room had all facilities as usual. Fridge, hairdryer, condiments and beds were very comfy. Air con took a little while to figure out and the room was warm but no harm done, we just opened the window!
The breakfast selection was plentiful and even had proper hot chocolate (not a watered down instant one, im fussy!)
Lovely to see beautiful christmas decorations too.

Very pleasant stay. Helpful staff and very central and convenient.
