Reviews
We booked a standard double room but we were upgraded and got a renovated room on the 4th floor.
It was very warm and we didn’t use AC.
Wi Fi was good
The bed is a bit small, but for 2 nights ok.
We had coffee and tea bags.
It was clean
The staff was very friendly
The only thing we didn’t like is the lift. It’s very old and it was stuck several times, so I had to take steps
I stayed in a premier single and it was very clean and just what I needed.
The location is spot on close to nice restaurants and the tube.
I would definitely recommend
Plenty of Halal food owed by Malaysian.
Recommend.
The location was good, near Bayswater station and 10 minutes walk to Paddington station. The hotel staff at the reception was very nice.
If you are good with an old, dirty and broken room you can stay here. I will definitely not come back.
The hotel comes with a Malaysian restaurant, delicious foods and reasonable prices.
Cafe and Restaurants near hotel
we had the whole duck boned which was very good.
Over all a good experience... don't expect amazing service as it seems like most old school places, it's not something they focus highly on.
Update: Haven't been there a while. Most of the staff are actually really nice, just one or two meanies. Judging by their website, it seems like they've gone with their old ways partly, with lower prices and longer sessions. Thank you!
We were slow to be served, and the waitress failed to make me feel comfortable. My date and I had planned to only get a main at this restaurant and go elsewhere for dessert, but the waitress offered us starters anyway because of the time our burgers would take to cook - this surprised me considering we were only 1 of 3 customers in the whole restaurant!
The food arrived in good time and was of average presentation, and slightly above average on flavour. Considering the price tag, we were expecting a lot more all round.
They seemed very reluctant to give us the bill. Then when we eventually received it, we discovered that a service charge was already included at over 12%! We were not impressed by this at all as we felt the waitress had not deserved that amount, and it was not advertised anywhere beforehand that the charge would be automatically added.
We went to the adjoining bar afterwards, but the bartender was so rude and disinterested that we left without ordering anything.
