Leonardo Royal Hotel City - Tower of

Spent the day here for a conference. Facilities were good. Staff polite and helpful. Break pastries and cakes looked good, gluten free biscuits were ok. Plenty of tasty food for buffet lunch with a number of options. Good venue.

Really enjoyed our stay. Very nice staff. Swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna were great. A very well decorated, traditional building. Location was brilliant, 2 seconds away from the tube station. Plenty are restaurants within a 20 minute walk. Room was a little small and didn't have many sockets (none either side of the bed).

Mixed feelings. Impressive when we first arrived in the reception area and expecting high standards as it's a 5 star hotel. Very disappointed when going in to our first room because it wasn't clean and we found rubbish (cigarette butts) left on the balcony. The second room wasn't much better because of dust and a dirty phone.
Thankfully the third and final room has provided us with a fabulous view of the Tower and the Shard! Settees however need replacing if not cleaned (shabby).
Breakfast was fine (could be hotter) and the pool, sauna and other fitness rooms are excellent.
Puzzled about the large size of the room with a small bathroom!
Unlikely to return, although it's location is the biggest plus factor.
The Concierge helped us so much throughout our stay and that's the only other plus factor.

Great location, right next to the tube. Good value and breakfast included if booked through the site. Got a free upgrade to an executive suite.
Pool, hot tub and aromatherapy room we're great.
Room was big with nice view of the tower of London, but dusty. 2 single beds pushed together. Bathroom was tiny with 1ply toilet paper, shower pressure was great and lovely toiletries.
Continental breakfast was boring with limited choice. Chicken wings from room service we're horrible.

A lovely hotel and staff. Breakfast was lovely and facilities (gym, pool, sauna, steam room, aromatherapy room) were brilliant. Sadly the jacuzzi was out of action during the stay. The hotel emailed me within 24 hours to advise me of my dietary requirements, which was lovely. Would love to stay again. Very convenient for transport, food and tower bridge.
