The Bailey's Hotel London Kensington in London

You absolutely must boycott this London Bailey Hotel. Do not stay here, seriously, it's a terrible review. I stayed in London for half a month and booked three hotels, and only this one ruined my mood; the other two were really good. I will write separate reviews for them.

I booked three nights at the London Bailey Hotel, but due to an allergic reaction from the bedding, I checked out early, losing 15,000 RMB, but I was determined to leave.

Here's what happened: On the night of check-in, I found bed bug larvae crawling on the towel. However, I had already washed up, so I didn't report it to the front desk. The next morning, red marks appeared on the exposed skin areas not covered by my pajamas; the areas covered by long sleeves and pants showed no discomfort. By the third morning, the red spots in those areas were even more prominent and began to itch. I went to a local pharmacy, and they confirmed it was an allergic reaction.

After seeing my allergic symptoms, the hotel manager showed no apology whatsoever. He arrogantly said, "You can check out early, but we will not issue a refund," and "I can go look at the bedding in your room, but nothing will change."

As a Chinese traveler abroad, I communicated with the Bailey Hotel in fluent English and with a sincere attitude, hoping to negotiate a resolution. However, the staff at the Bailey Hotel were incredibly arrogant and used inappropriate language, which was truly unbelievable.

The hotel's location is quite awkward. While there's a subway and bus, there are no attractions within walking distance. The nearby supermarket doesn't have as much variety as M&S, and I tried the local food once and didn't want to eat it again.

I particularly want to commend Trip.com. They were very responsible and efficient in assisting with the communication process, consistently negotiating via email and responding and handling things promptly.
