The Wellington Hotel in London

Well, well, well, let's talk about The Wellington! What a fabulous hotel and pub! The staff were so friendly and the room was very tidy. It was the first time I have stayed in a pub, so I was very happy indeed. Although you're near Waterloo Station you may hear the trains however, my room happened to have earplugs for me, which I thought was a lovely touch. For the foodies, the breakfast was top tier. It's also a casual stroll and you find yourself at South Bank. You can't beat the hospitality here and I will be back.

I absolutely LOVE this hotel/pub. It's location is perfect for all the theatres. Most only a few minutes walk away. The furthest is about 30mins. The walk is a perfect opportunity to take in the sights of London. It's right opposite Waterloo station. The hotel itself has recently had a refurb and is beautifully decorated. I've stayed here twice. Once before the refurb and once after. I stayed in different sides each time and both are lovely. The beds are comfy and the amenities in the rooms are great. Rge rooms are above the pub but you don't here the noise from the pub at all. Breakfast was nice and served until 11am which it great for us that like a lay in. I wouldn't stay anywhere else while visiting London. I will be returning with my children in March when we come to see Six.

I stayed at The Wellington Hotel with my daughter and we had a really great experience.

The room was a very good size, clean and comfortable, and the shower was excellent — powerful with plenty of hot water, which is always a win after a long day out.

All of the staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating, which made the stay feel relaxed and easy from the moment we arrived.

The location is also spot on — literally right outside Waterloo train station, making it perfect for getting around London.

A nice added bonus is that hotel guests receive 15% off food and drink, which we made good use of. The manager is a really friendly guy as well and clearly takes pride in the place.

Overall, a fantastic stay — we can’t wait to visit again.

The hotel is conveniently located across from Waterloo tube station. A fab location for dropping off bags after a long journey.

Nice little hotel/pub in a great location for exploring the city. I chose this place for its central location to the main attractions in the city....... tube access is literally across the street.... staff were friendly and stored our bags for us on the day we got there before check-in time so we could venture out..... also they day we left they held our bags since checkout time is 11am and our train wasn't till 6pm. It's nice to go downstairs and have a drink or a quick bite to eat...... plus 15 percent off for guests staying there which is an awesome perk. Rooms are small........ but decent....... comfortable bedding....... and great water pressure which is a plus....... the noise is minimal due to double pane windows. All in all....... great place to stay......... only warning i would give is to people who cannot climb stairs.... the rooms are all situated above work multiple floors and tight hallways..... but i loved the experience

Room was clean and comfortable, kettle with options of hot drinks and water in the fridge.
Great breakfast. We will go back
