Sun Harbour Hotel is a fantastic find. The location is unbeatable — quiet, safe, and beautifully situated by the beach , great restaurants, and shopping. Vanessa checked us in and gave a great tour of the Boutique Hotel and even generously upgraded our room to a suite. The hotel is excellently located just adjacent to a beautiful beach and an upscale shopping center. Rooms are well stocked and maintained with full kitchen and clean facilities. This place was such a gem of a find! We cooked, walked to the beach (they had beach chairs and umbrellas to borrow), went out to restaurants a couple of times, soaked in the heated pool, rented Citi bikes from a nearby kiosk. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Would 100% stay again and will recommend to others if they're visiting Miami. Thank you!

A little run down, and when we checked in the extra bed hadn’t been made so the manager brought us bedding and we had to make it ourselves. But other than that slight inconvenience we had a lovely stay. Charming vibe and fun decor.

I love the area this hotel is in and it's surprisingly nice compared to what I was expecting with the low nightly rate. The shower has great water pressure and gets good and hot; I love that in a hotel. Parking is great and you can walk to multiple shopping and dining establishments.

The staff were very friendly and the place was cute and comfy but the bathroom could have been cleaner. The toilet and shower were not clean. As well as the heater in the room, we could not control it because it was broken. It got so hot we had to crack open the window and turn the fan on which helped a bit. The window knob as well was a bit broken so it was hard to close and open.

So the young lady at the desk when I checked in was pretty rude. I arrived at the motel at 9:15pm and the main entrance was locked and nobody was behind the checkout desk. Driving from Las Vegas to Bryce Canyon Park, I really only considered staying in a hotel when there were not many hotels to choose from. Breakfast is not included and it is far from the city where you can eat.

The location was great with two breakfast options close by that were recommended by the staff. The accommodations were comfortable. A lamp with no switch needed to be unplugged to turn off and plugged in to turn on. The hanger on bathroom door was missing a screw so was useless.

The hotel is of course old, you can hear the sound from the rooms as if you were in the next room... I still don't understand how the air conditioner works, it's very noisy... it turns on and off whenever it wants... the advantages include proximity to the sea and the ability to take chairs and towels for the beach at the reception.

We had a fantastic stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious and had all amenities we needed. Breakfast was above average. It is situated in a prime location as well. Being that we were primarily there to ski at Whiteface, it was a short 15 minute drive. Everything in the town of Lake Placid is within minutes. Would highly recommend!

Owner Jimmy is a southern gentleman, people person, who has some great stories to share as he serves the most delicious breakfast we have ever had at any B & B. Our stay here was just perfect! Bryan and Jimmie were excellent hosts and the room was an eclectic collection of charming history.
