Pettigru Place Bed & Breakfast, Greenville1 / 10

There are so many wonderful things to share about this bed and breakfast..the room (Hummingbird) was perfect as I was traveling solo and with the balcony to relax on, I made the right choice. I can't say enough about the amazing breakfasts served, they were delicious and presented beautifully. My welcome by Sue and Randy was simply Southern warmth and I will always remember my visit fondly. Thank...
The first time we visited was August 2025. This was the first time we stayed at a Bed and Breakfast. Our experience was outstanding! Since that time, we have visited other bed and breakfast locations in other states. The other places were very nice. I can not deny but, Pettigru stands at the top of elegance, luxury, ultimate guest service and the breakfast is so delicious. There are so many things...
Beautiful bed and breakfast with charming staff. Enjoyed our short stay to attend March Madness basketball games. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing. Our room on the first floor was very quiet and meticulously decorated. Walking distance to The Falls downtown and endless restaurant options.
Room was great, staff was friendly. Breakfast was fantastic. Glass of wine and cheese around 4 to 6 was a nice touch
Room was great, clean and comfortable. Staff was outstanding. Great breakfast as well. Super place to stay
We visited for Greenville, SC for our anniversary. We have an amazing stay at the Pettigru Place Bed and Breakfast. We stayed in the Rosamunde room. Although, it was a queen size bed, the room was more spacious with the two wing chairs. The coffee bar was great and the soft drinks in the refrigerator were a very nice touch. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. There is a sitting room...

Darlene and Phil were great! They made us feel so welcome. The Red Horse B&B was so relaxing, and we felt like we were staying with well-known friends. We visited back in the summer of 2021, and I never did post a review. I hope that we can visit again in 2026.
I just visited Red Horse for the second time this weekend. This place is an absolute oasis to visit. Impeccably clean rooms with gorgeously appointed bathrooms and all the touches of home. They make it easy to keep up with all the little fussy things that make a place feel like home: coffee (and cream in the room's mini refrigerator), a filtered water/ice refrigerator where I can fill my yeti cup...
Exactly as we imagined a bed and breakfast would be! The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Our visit was very relaxing, and our small dog was welcomed. Only stayed one night but would love to make this a destination stay in the future!
The room was clean, comfortable, and had all amenities we might need during our stay. The rest of the B&B was beautifully decorated and well kept. The Red Horse Family was attentive and accomodating during our whole stay and they made sure we had everything we wanted or needed. Thank you to everyone who helped make our trip a pleasant one!
After searching for places to stay overnight in Albuquerque, we were so glad to find this cute bed-and-breakfast! Darlene was very friendly from the moment we spoke on the phone, even when we explained that we weren’t sure we could make it to Albuquerque from Arizona that day. She reserved a room for us just in case, and we were so glad we made it. The bed and breakfast felt very homey and cozy, and...
This is a very unique property.. It is a family farm that is run by the daughter and grand daughter of the original owner. It is filled to the brim with family history and keepsakes. There is a story behind each item. The innkeeper is welcoming and full of stories about her family and her inn. They were very willing to make adjustments with early and/or late arrivals. Wonderful experience.

The room was clean. The area was quiet. The attendant couldn't make himself put the phone down while I was checking in. Their definition of breakfast was a bread loaf and coffee. No coffee maker in the room. I guess that's all you can get now if you don't want to spend more than $100.00
They just need to do a better job with the smell it stinks in the whole establishment like theres possibly mildew somewhere.
Poor customer service. Good time they where clean and I loved that my room had a recliner.
Not too bad at all. Surprisingly nice and clean with confortable beds.
wow... used to work here @ 15yrs ago but it was NEVER this posh. chic design & accomodating staff.
My boyfriend and I stayed here 2 nights for the MAHA fest. Rooms were clean, quiet, and affordable, had all amenities that we needed. Employees were friendly, and had tasty free breakfast. Would stay again!

2nd time staying here and was just as amazing as the first time. Will definitely book again every chance I can while in the area.

Our stay was good with a great breakfast, Carlos was wonderful; however, we were told that a cab was ordered to take us to the port, and it never came. Ended up ordering a Lyft, ending up late for check-in.
The Staff was very helpful and friendly. Within walking distance of the beach, Target, Grocery. Easy to get to the Port from their location.
Room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. Comfortable beds. Hilda and Lily who prepared our breakfast were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very yummy and is made to order. The staff were very friendly and welcoming at check-in. The room was clean, and the breakfast had a nice variety, so we were able to enjoy a proper morning meal. The dining area was clean as well, which we appreciated. The only downside was that the room was a bit dark since there was no ceiling light, but overall we were satisfied with our stay.
There was a bad smell in the room that immediately turned us off.
Very clean location, everything is superbly maintained, and despite being quite close to the highway, it's very quiet. The staff are very friendly; definitely a place to return to. The only downside was that my passport was scanned during check-in.

Staff courteous the room was good. But always need improvement
We were just there for one night. Staff was very nice. They did have a breakfast but not great. Room was okay, bed was comfortable.
Staff was courteous. Lots of rules posted, which is unusual. Questioned whether one of the young persons in our party belonged there.
Place was clean and quiet. Ruby Tuesday and Applebees next door, and Cracker Barrel nearby. Breakfast was adequate. Easy access off I95 and good parking. Two gas stations nearby.
I had issues with my key card and my room was changed, but problem persisted . One of the employees card also did not worked After going to front desk several times as if it was something I signed up for, the owner said I had the card near my phone .When I told him that was not the case and I have never had this issue at other hotels, he said to me not come to the hotel again, so will not be going...

a true boutique. Quiet/private. We stayed at a small 2bdrm/2 bath (king and queen beds) suite with living room & kitchen for a fraction of the cost of the major chain hotels across the street for ONE standard room. Sun Harbour Hotel is a fantastic find. The location is unbeatable — quiet, safe, and beautifully situated by the beach , great restaurants, and shopping. It’s the perfect balance of peaceful and convenient. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff is friendly and attentive. An excellent choice for a relaxing stay in North Miami. Highly recommended.
Vanessa checked us in and gave a great tour of the Boutique Hotel and even generously upgraded our room to a suite. The hotel is excellently located just adjacent to a beautiful beach and an upscale shopping center. Rooms are well stocked and maintained with full kitchen and clean facilities. Only wish we could stay here longer.
Nice apartment, very good location
Excellent location (right across the street from the beach). There were chairs and umbrellas to use and enjoy at the beach. The warm pool area on-site was so relaxing. This place was such a gem of a find! We cooked, walked to the beach (they had beach chairs and umbrellas to borrow), went out to restaurants a couple of times, soaked in the heated pool, rented Citi bikes from a nearby kiosk. Definitely loud sometimes with being very close to the Main Street but Ok. They can really improve the cleanliness though. The shower had hair and was sticky. The bathroom floor was like slimy and moist. I had to use a towel as a rug to not step on the bathroom floor and rinse the shower tub before showering. I really enjoyed staying on the second floor rather than the first. I felt way more safe and...
I love the area this hotel is in and it's surprisingly nice compared to what I was expecting with the low nightly rate. The shower has great water pressure and gets good and hot; I love that in a hotel. Parking is great and you can walk to multiple shopping and dining establishments.
The staff were very friendly and the place was cute and comfy but the bathroom could have been cleaner. The toilet and shower were not clean. As well as the heater in the room, we could not control it because it was broken. It got so hot we had to crack open the window and turn the fan on which helped a bit. The window knob as well was a bit broken so it was hard to close and open.
So the young lady at the desk when I checked in was pretty rude. I arrived at the motel at 9:15pm and the main entrance was locked and nobody was behind the checkout desk. After knocking loudly for a few minutes, a female in her late 20’s appeared with a very irritated look on her face like I had arrived late and was interrupting her soap opera

This has got to be the best stay in Lubbock. Dawn and David are welcoming hosts. It's small place, well located, and the home-cooked breakfast tops it off. We stayed in the 1950s room which was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the pool and using the hot tub. There is a bit of traffic noise, but we found it not too obtrusive.
The was exactly the experience I had hoped. The caboose was well equipped with an efficient heating system for a 27 degree night. The interior was immaculately clean with one of the most comfortable queen beds I’ve ever slept on. I was also impressed with the quality of the bedding. The sheets were soft and extra blankets and pillows were provided. It has a nice sized compact refrigerator, microwave...
We spent 2 nights in the Caboose. It was awesome!!! There is a portion that is like a sitting room, with a couch and a small table with 2 chairs. This is the room with the sink, small refrigerator, and a microwave. The middle portion is where the tall bit of the caboose is and the Engineer(s) sit. It provides some storage places, and just past that is the toilet/sink area on one side and the shower...
Thanksgiving holiday was wee spent at The Woodrow House B & B in Lubbock! It was my 4 th stay and my Mom’s third. The president’s room is easy access for disability. Dawn and David are so enjoyable and Becky is a delight!
Fantastic hospitality, breakfast and rooms. We stayed in the caboose just to try something different. It was really cool. A friend stayed in one of the rooms in the house and it appeared perfect and comfortable. We will definitely be back!
PERFECT place to stay while visiting your college kid. Breakfast is fantastic. Hospitality is wonderful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We tried the caboose for something different and it was really cool. I did peak in one of the rooms in the house and it appeared clean and comfortable.

Excellent staff, clean room, inexpensive
Just as expected for this area, but very convenient.
Very nice hotel for a short stay. The disappointment was that their ice machine wasn’t working so I had to buy a bag.
1. Overall cleanliness is good; 2. Close to the main road, convenient transportation, but a bit noisy; 3. The facilities are simple, meeting basic business travel needs; 4. Relatively speaking, prices are much higher during the mineral and gem exhibition than usual, so it feels quite expensive! 5. The owner's service is excellent.
No frills The price was really affordable, but with that you also get what you pay for. Bathroom light fixture was missing two light bulbs.
I didn’t sleep well because I could feel every movement of my husband on the bed. The AC unit was quite noisy too.

PROS Good ratio among price and quality Very well location to enjoy the beach at Hollywood; Free towells and sunchairs offered; CONS Room walls are too narrow
The hotel is of course old, you can hear the sound from the rooms as if you were in the next room... I still don't understand how the air conditioner works, it's very noisy... it turns on and off whenever it wants... the advantages include proximity to the sea and the ability to take chairs and towels for the beach at the reception.
