I recently stayed at The Bartlett Hotel & Guest House in San Francisco and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect—situated in Lower Pacific Heights , it's a quiet, charming neighborhood but still close to all the action.
One of the best things about this place is how convenient it is for getting around SF.
There are tons of great food spots within walking distance.
Good for exploring the city. The toilet and shower were in the hallway for our room, but always very clean. The room is relatively small, but adequate for a few nights. The location is very central.
The walkway has somehow stinky smell. The room is reasonable with this price. No hair dryer in my room, but after informing the staff. They dropped it off in front of my room the following day. it is okay if you wanna find the private hotel in SF for short vacation.

The location is the biggest advantage! I was walking everywhere!
Great place in a great location. Very close to Powell station for the BART, buses, trams and cable car. We also got great use out of the kitchenette on the second floor which came in very useful. The only downside was having to go to a different building to check-in. Not a big deal because it's just across the street, but always feels like a bigger issue when you've been carrying bags and looking forward...

Room was OK & staff was very nice.
However, the bed was hard on one side & the other side all I felt were the springs making it uncomfortable. The blanket & bedspread, if you want to call it that, was as thin as the sheet. No extra blanket in the room. Had to keep the heat up to stay warm.
The biggest advantage is the free parking, but the bed was very uncomfortable, sagging in the middle. The air conditioning was also very noisy, which disturbed my sleep. The blanket was too thin as well.
Located betwixt Chinatown and The Tenderloin, this local establishment provides a value that is worth putting up any quirks you may find in your room.
Recommended!!
I love this place! Suits my needs perfectly. Basic room in good, comfy condition. Parking, wifi, coffee in the morning. I’ll be back.
The people that work here are the best what brings it down to many homeless loud music non stop but the hotel workers are so nice to you they go up and beyond
Good stay
My room was clean, clean sheets and pillow cases, shower was clean with good water pressure. Check in was quick, location was great, small grocery store was across street. I was so tired from my day’s activities that I slept all night.

The rooms were nice and the hotel has i nice atmosphere.
In one of the rooms there was an invasion by hundreds of ants that were everywhere including the bed. And the otherwise nice staff apologized but took no action.
Another great stay at Parker House! Holiday party in the City and it’s location is very walkable and convenient. Staff is so helpful and go beyond to assist. The garden and grounds are lovely. Breakfast is continental but the bagels and other baked goods are high-end and fresh. Yogurt, cereal, granola and hard boiled eggs beautifully presented. Some construction to keep the place ship-shape, but did...
I always like how comfortable it is. The little kitchenette where you can make tea or whatever you need is so nice.
Just had a lovely one-night stay at the Parker Guest House in San Francisco, conveniently located just one block from Dolores Park. The innkeepers are wonderful and friendly, the room was comfortable and the bed and linens luxurious. The continental breakfast offered in the morning was plentiful and varied and delicious (and they were cool with me taking another breakfast to go for my plane ride back...
Such a great spot - we appreciated the friendly staff, convenient location, charming space and super comfortable BED/linens! We will be back!
The location is great if you are visiting this area of SF and the Inn is a wonderful place all around. Highlights include beautiful outdoor space, gorgeous flowers and touches all over the house, great breakfast and happy hour. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms well equipped. We will definitely be back.

This property needs updating. Although, you get what you paid for, the facility still needs some love and maintenance.
Fix the elevator (out of order throughout my 4 day stay, and looks it has been broken down for a while).
Improve the breakfast menu (no fresh food at all, no fruit or yogurt or any hot item, all cheap, unhealthy foods)
Extend breakfast hours (8:00 to 10:00 only)
Fix power outlet by the bed (broke, will not hold charger)
Quieter than the properties on Lombard, but poorly managed. Internet was out for a day and the manager did not seem to care. Office was empty even during daytime hours and no one answered the phone. Power outlets in my room were blocked such that a phone or laptop charger could not be plugged in to almost any of them. Housekeeping took away used towels but did not replace them on 2 nights.
Honestly, its an older motel so the walls are a bit thin. I woke up due to the people next door being loud but for the price WITH PARKING cant be beat. I would stay again without a second guess
Parking was easy and checking in was fast. The property is quiet and was fine for a night in town. Our room was nice but had an older building smell. I like the vintage style of this place. Breakfast was just cereal or packaged pastries.
Mattress was as old as the hotel and caved in on the middle. Breakfast did not start till 8 and it was a mad rush to get what was there. Parking and location was good, long walk to the Peir 39 area but doable.

Nice and cheap motel with free parking, perfect for sleep and shower during your San Francisco visit
It's relatively old, not worth the price in the United States, but it's only of this quality.
The room is a bit old but the hygiene is OK
I've stayed here many times. The room is poorly ventilated. Parking is free. I just want to save money.
Good location with near chestnut drive. Check in was easy and they provide free parking. Will stay here again.
The room is very small, very close to the road, very noisy, I don't like it here, I won't come again

The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay.
Except for the convenient parking, everything else is average
We book a 2 bedroom suite for 5 nites with breakfast.
For us, everything is good except room shower glass door doesn't closed properly, so, when taking shower time, water flow outside the glass door and made the floor very wet & slippery.
The only drawback is that there is no elevator. In San Francisco, parking is free and relatively safe, so it’s okay here. The price is right, but you have to go to the parking lot early, otherwise it's first come, first served.
The hotel is in an excellent location and is convenient for travel. Although the parking lot is not large, it is located inside the hotel, which is safe and convenient.
The room we stayed in was of a good size, clean and tidy. The only regret was that we couldn't use the elevator, which made it difficult to carry luggage.
The good thing is the car parking is free and is inside the building

Courteous staff, clean room, good wifi, comfortable beds, excellent tv,, great shower; simple but adequate for a good night of sleep
Unacceptable with dirty towels, like no housekeeper cleaning up the room before we come
It's a very basic hotel and rooms are sufficient, but everything is quite "well used". The place itself could be tidier and better maintained. The great advantage of the hotel is its location, which has easy access to public transport and many interesting places can be reached even by foot.
Stayed for 5 nights. Clean bathroom and bedsheets everyday. Five minute walk to several great restaurants. The area never felt unsafe. I used Lyft to get to the Pier and downtown. Front desk was friendly.
Room was clean. Location is really nice to the wharf and downtown area. Was a but pricey for how small the room was though.
Comfy beds, and rooms offer a microwave and mini fridge. But when we arrived the beds didn't come with blankets and we had to ask for one, the keys to the room initially didn't work, and our room was on the third floor and theres no elevator, which was difficult to get our luggage up. There is parking which is nice, and there's a lot to walk to, starbucks and many diners around the corner and a walgreens...

The motel is newly renovated and under new management since June. Everything is new from the painted murals spread throughout the property to the pillows on the bed. Definitely, disregard the reviews from previous dates.
One of the only issues is the small space and limited parking spaces. Breakfast iptions wasn't much
The traffic on Geary Street could be heard all night. The bedding was uncomfortable. The top sheet was scratchy and the sheets would not stay tucked.
Some malfunctioning lights and outlets, missing bulbs, noisy room heater, discolored caulking in shower. Good value for overnight stay, but wouldn’t feel comfortable if wife accompanied me to this motel.
Clean and convenient. Well priced. Noisy from road traffic but that goes with the good price. Off street parking.
It was a place close to where we were going in the morning. Nothing special, clean noisy but the shower was nice.
