Hotel is good and the service is great. However note that the water pressure is quite weak and very hard to control the water temperature (not sure if this is just a US thing). Also, our AC unit made some loud noises so we decided to keep it off, it’s no issue since SF weather is very comfortable anyways.

The USD $35 / night mandatory extra destination fee they charge during checkin is absolutely not worth it for us. Considering most hotel offer free WiFi and free bottle of drinking waters, the rest of the included items with this extra fee does not used by us. If this could be inform and charged before booking, that at least set our expectations right. We will definitely not coming back to this hotel...

Solid tourist hotel for a good price! We stayed over New Year's and chose a top floor courtyard room to avoid noise and got perfect sleep after a long night. Overall, it was great! The location is super convenient, and you're just a short walk from the Nintendo SF store. The facilities are comprehensive, and the service was good. Strong environmental awareness, good location, and good service attitude

Not my first time at this vintage hotel, but stayed at a medium size room this time. They've done a fair job of updating the rooms, nothing too fancy. The closet and drawer spaces are limited, and the table is tiny. But I love the sturdy designer chair and that the windows actually tilt open for fresh pacific night air. Bed is great, bring your USB charger though if you have several devices.

Very conveniently located 3 mins walk from Powell BART and Trader's Joe right at basement of building. Amenities were new and modern. Staff were friendly and helpful.Safe for solo travellers.

The biggest plus is the convenient location, but it can be a bit noisy. The room facilities are just average. It's barely acceptable for business travelers.

This hotel must have been recently renovated as the facilities are brand new. The room's lighting, music, temperature, and curtains can all be controlled via an iPad. The hotel is also very close to the subway station and the starting point of the cable car.

My favorite CitizenM hotel, the experience was as great as always. The downtown area is right downstairs, and even though it's a bit messy, I never felt unsafe. It's also very close to the tram station. Just a heads up, the 'dangerous' tenderloin district isn't too far from here.

I usually stay at this hotel almost every time I'm in the area. The location is superb! I also really like the concept of Citizen M, especially the bathroom and the lighting controls. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Actually, we weren't able to check in. On February 16th, it rained heavily in Los Angeles, and there were many traffic accidents on the highways. After driving for two hours, we decided to give up on going to San Francisco. We then tried to get a full refund, but the hotel refused, only offering two-thirds. Logically, given this unforeseen disaster, the hotel should have refunded the full amount.

The hotel has a great view, the service staff is very friendly, and the location is good. The only problem is that parking is difficult in San Francisco.

The location is very good, very safe and convenient. When I checked in, I gave my child a 🦭 doll. My child loves it very much and takes it with him every day. The staff is friendly and enthusiastic. The only drawback is that the room is not soundproof. I was awakened by the knocking and talking next door for two consecutive mornings.

We have experienced poor customer service, as the hotel has repeatedly changed our room during our stay. The front desk are very rude.

The location is fantastic! Right outside the hotel, you'll find a subway station and the starting point for the cable car. I like this place. It’s convenient to get around and close to important locations, including public transportation stations. However, I would like to deduct points for the housekeeping service. I requested two towel replacements, and while they did replace them, I received one bath towel and one floor mat instead of two towels.
