Unique. Very clean. 2025 was rough. This place was unique. Simple. Very clean which is a lot easier to do when the decor is minimalist. Electric Fireplace functional and cozy. Heatboard on the wall was new to me. Bath was beautiful. Towels plush pristine. Mgr. helped me get in during the horrendous rain via com. Jazz music in the lounge. Coffee machine that makes lattes, cappucinos...A bit retro (70s my teen/college) in ambiance. Repurposed bits from other hotels which made it homey and ecofriendly. The place has character. Great location. Parked on street. It was late. I never met anyone, only by voice because the weather was fierce. I would have liked a little fridge. I loved staying there.

We enjoyed our night stay. Room was clean and accommodating. Hotel was secure and quiet. I would defintely stay again.

I don’t often review hotels, but when you can’t stop thinking about how COMFY a bed and pillows were - it’s a sign you must!
We enjoyed our stay, it’s very clean and nice, and sooo comfortable!!
The only downside is that parking is not free, and it’s not even part of the property. Other than that, it was great! And the lobby coffee machine was amazing!

We chose this hotel because it's a 5 min walk to the Catalyst Club in Santa Cruz. We had tickets to a concert there. It was very convention. The Chinese restaurant right across the street was very good. We had breakfast back behind at the Firefly Coffee House which was very good. The room was perfect for our one night stay. Very clean and quiet. Parking was a little tricky so I would suggest checking in during hours if you can. But it was very nice to park in their little lot and then just walk everywhere. We would stay again.

Calvin is very helpful at check in, the hotel is in a perfect location, rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable and the fireplace is a beautiful touch. Thank you for another great stay!

The room reeked of bleach… We left the windows open and left a fan running and came back for five hours later and it still made both of us sick.

Great service. Ideal location in between the beach and downtown. The chocolate chip cookies were a nice touch.

Walkable to beach or downtown. Premium coffee and tea available anytime. Access to an inner courtyard with nice areas to sit. There are only 9 rooms in the hotel so it feels more like a guest house.

We really enjoy and love this place! Would definitely come back again! All good memories! (The chocolate cake in lobby was amazing)
