Aqua Hotel in Fort Lauderdale

The room was sparse, clean, all white, with some semblance of dishware, including two branded plastic cups. Bed was comfortable, and bathwater piping hot (during rare Florida chill, thanks). Bath necessitates and spares were stocked. Plenty of free parking on property.

Ours was a late night check-in; worth mentioning that talking through ring doorbell can be a bit of extended hassle. The staff was exceptionally caring and accommodating, when around.
Has a nice outdoor seating area but property could do better with some maintenance. This place and adjacent North Beach Hotel are cut from the same cloth.

Labelling ‘Aqua’ a boutique is bit of stretch. The term is getting stretched & loosely applied, here, on a modified motel. When you see plastic flowers in outdoor pots & beds, it immediately goes off key and tacky. Situated in the shadows of Conrad & Four Seasons; they’d rather stay the lane and sell proximity to the beach + basic comfort; rather then pretend and not deliver.

Aqua is a hidden gem. From the location to the staff everything was amazing. Truly treated like family. Deborah and Maggie were top notch. Booked before leaving for a cruise. Definitely going to be my new go to spot when visiting Fort Lauderdale.

This is a great find in Fort Lauderdale. Easy walk to the Bonnet House, a top attraction in Fort Lauderdale, and to many great restaurants and the beach. The rooms aren't flashy but they are comfortable and clean. The service is wonderful and the price is right. It's also a short ride to Port Everglades to catch a cruise. Highly recommend.

Great location right behind the main hotels and just steps from the beach. The rooms aren’t the most modern, but the overall value is excellent. The complex offers a gym, a heated pool, and there are plenty of good food and coffee spots just around the corner. We felt very well taken care of throughout our stay, also thanks to Maggie and Deborah!

Chose the Aqua Hotel for a 1-night stop over before boarding a cruise. Rooms and Pool were super clean and not at all crowded. Nothing in the room or around the hotel was broken. Maggie at the front desk was lovely and really ensured we had everything we needed, and went above and beyond to make us (as Canadians) feel welcomed. This really has the feel of a boutique hotel with excellent one-on-one service. Highly recommend. Beach is a block away as added bonus and although we ditched our rental before staying the night, their parking is only $10 a night, super reasonable for location. Everything you need is a walk away.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here in July, and we were very happy with the staff and the hotel itself. When we arrived, we were greeted by maggie, who was extremely helpful and friendly. she assisted us with finding activities, transportation, and nice places to eat. she definitely went out her way to make sure our stay was great. aside from Maggie, all the staff i encountered while staying there were very nice and helpful, all smiles. The rooms were nice, the beach is around the corner, and the night life is within walking distance. When I return, I will defiantly stay there again.

Perfect little spot... So close to beach and restaurants-- village cafe for breakfast, S3 for brunch, Steak954 for dinner, Jimmy johns delivers here.. The deck for drinks..all walking distance. Spent many hours in the little cabana.. Will definitely return to this location.......... Returned after we missed our flight... Stephanie was super sweet and helpful.. Wasn't planning on an extra night but we were glad to come back here??

Loved this hotel! You can make old things new again. Decor, facilities and service was wonderful. Rooms were exceptional. I'd definitely return. The hotel is not directly on the beach, but that wasn't important to us.
