Only come if you are willing to wait 45 min for a mediocre meal (and spend $12). I’ve had better hotel breakfasts than this. Waiters are rude and unwilling to check on your food. Have fun making us tip you.

I've heard and driven by Quarter Deck for decades. So hosting some friends from the west coast, we decided to stop in for a couple beers on a Saturday night.

It was the most inhospitable experience I've ever had in south Florida. The bartender, I wish I remembered her name for a special mention of her outstandingly crappy service, was abrupt when initially addressing us.

Then we decided to move from the bar to a four top table for better comfort, when our "professional" bartender purposefully yelled "would you please pay your bill". Needless to say we had not closed our tab when we relocated from the bar. But we were sure to do so immediately after that wonderful piece of welcoming display.

PS - We went around the corner to Drunken Taco, much smaller venue, but facing the ocean and enjoyed the rest of the evening. I believe Corey was our bartender. And he was shocked when we shared our experience at Quarter Deck. He was nice enough to cover up saying that isn't the norm for them. But first impressions as they say...

Great location and that's about it. Service was horrible if you don't buy alcohol they will ignore you. I waited for 35 minutes and I had to ask one of the servers to get my order because my original server disappear, food is definitely overpriced. I had a great time in Fort Lauderdale and this place ruined my day, also had to extend my parking for one hour thanks to their horrible service.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Nice little spot right across the street fro Ft. Lauderdale Beach. My waiter Vinny was the best, I was seated right away and given a drink menu with the two that were with me at the time. the 2 for 1 Margaritas taste like juice but definitely creep up on you. I'm giving them 2 stars because of the "security guard" at the back door. I had a party of 8 who attempted to come in through the back (it was pouring that night), the manager on shift said it would be fine. When they tried to come in the security guard yelled at them and slammed the door in their faces. They all got wet and had to leave. Thanks for ruining my birthday dinner.
