Hyatt Place Across from Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando

We arrived at 7.30pm on a Sunday. Place was at best half full. Poor service from the start. Seated right beside open kitchen door. Very noisy. Asked to move to alternative seat which we were told to move 1 row away. I refused and asked for a booth, to be told there were none free. However there were seats in the conservatory area but we'd have to wait 5 minutes to be served. We took it.
Server eventually arrived. Took our 4 orders (2 adults 2 kids) and asked that we all get food at the same time ( No starters just main courses).
15 minutes later one of the kids meals arrived but nothing else. We called our waiter 3 times in the next 30 minutes to enquire about our food.
I went to the restroom in the hope when I got back the food would be there. On the way there I noticed at least 20 booths on the other side of be building that were free and unused!
On returning ,food was all there. My wife's burger was medium cooked. My steak was well done. They had cooked our food to our liking the wrong way. I asked for medium steak, she well done burger. At this point it was close to 1 hour since sitting down so we just ate the food.
Getting a correct bill took 3 attempts.
Poor service poor food and bad attitude from the waiter until he got the correct bill back to my table when he suddenly turned into a very friendly person. I wonder why. We left the standard tip, which got us a frown and a grunt of a goodbye.
Avoid at all costs. I'd hate to be hungry going to this place on a busy Saturday evening.

Understand I don't usually give comments regarding restaurant and the service each person have their own opinion and they own personal experience. But this experience I couldn't overlook. It took us a long time to get our food when it did come half of the table received their order while the other half did not have any food. We had to keep asking for it our order. We had to ask for the desert that came with the meal and that took another 15 minutes. Finally our bills came and all 9 was wrong every last one of them and the waiter Richard said they couldn't be corrected he kept saying that he will ask the manager but then we come to find out the manager wasn't even in the building. We ask for sauces with our meal which never came and since we was the last one there for lunch after they messed up our bill and service was less then desirable they decided to turn off the lights in the whole restaurant and just the lights above our table was on. No one came to apologize for something that was clearly their mistake so I will never enter this establishment again. I'm happy for those who had a great experience and I wish the best for those that will go but I won't! or none of my friends thank you for reading this comment. Good luck
