The Marriott staff was phenomenal and played a critical role in the success of my event. Armelle, Cindy, and Amanda were extremely helpful throughout the planning process, ensuring every timeline, detail, and accommodation was executed seamlessly for our conference. The Riverfront location was outstanding, perfectly situated within walking distance of numerous restaurants, shops, and attractions. The entire hotel staff was friendly and professional, and the rooms were consistently clean and well-maintained. Whether you’re planning a conference or simply enjoying vacation time in Savannah, this location is a must. I will definitely stay at the Marriott again during future visits. A++++ across the board for customer service, location, and overall accommodations.

Love this hotel. Have stayed there many times. However, this time the room we were given really needed some TLC. Bathroom needed several items repaired. Baseboards, towel racks, tile floor…we will definitely stay here again just hope the room next time will be the standard we have been used to.

I was not that impressed with the Hotel nor with the attitude of having to pay for everything even parking. They tried to charge us for WIFI. Ridiculous charges for basically everything.

Room was average, behind soap bottles was very nasty you could tell had not been removed and cleaned, toilet lid was not cleaned well, trim on wall corner of the bathroom was rusting. Hotel looks well kept from the outside and lobby but the room disappointed our expectations. Also we booked a river front room and was given a room over looking the parking lot. No big deal there but not what we was expecting.

Broken AC unit. when they fixed it, it still made a loud noise all night. There were roaches in our bathroom. No one cleaned our room for the entire stay….My wife left her wallet on the bed and when we drove back to get it everything was soaked. Worst stay at a Marriott ever.

Room was good, but it was a very long walk to get to. The hotel was not busy(at all)so they could have given us a closer room to the elevators. The room also had no water bottles.
Staff was ok.
They need to do a better job with keeping the hallways clean.

It is a very old property in a great location. The room did not have any toiletries like shower caps. The hair dryer was badly banged up. Still did the job. Not a dryer you would expect in a 4 star experience.

The beds however were very comfortable.

The hotel is located on the east end of the River St walk way. If possible get a balcony room on the river side. Watching the large ships come in and out is magical!! Indoor atrium room provide a view of the river as well but there's nothing like that balcony view!! The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. The staff meets the old Marriott standard! Smiling helpful eager to serve. We had a small issue with a charge which was rectified swiftly. The food and drinks were good but portions are small for the price. Parking is $40 per night (which is pricey in my opinion) but there is a city garage next door in walking distance for $20 per night if you're on a budget.

I would first like the express my sincere gratitude to the entire staff at your property. I reached out via message and told the property that I was visiting to celebrate my anniversary and got an immediate response that they’ll verify my reservation and made sure I got amenities sent to my room. I also called and asked if it was possible to get an upgrade, which I also did. All this before we even checked in. Dylan at the front desk was very helpful and made check in smooth. Then we had dinner at the lobby bar. I had the absolute best encounter with the entire staff, especially Meg, who went above and beyond to acknowledge our anniversary and took really great care of us. Efin. Ari and Adi were all amazing and they made us very comfortable and out entire stay warm and welcoming. Their service was top notch. We enjoyed our time with them so much that we showed up the next night to have dinner with them again. Thank you for having such amazing people who understand guest service. Can’t wait to go back to visit again. Thank you Marriott Savannah Riverfront for being to accommodating to me and my husband.
