The staff at this hotel went above and beyond for us during our stay. Free room upgrade to riverview room. And everyone was professional and pleasant with each interaction. My balcony room overlooking the river was wonderful. I particularly enjoyed seeing the cargo ships coming and going from the port. Housekeeping employees were very nice and attentive. Great hotel with a wonderful staff. We went for our 17th anniversary and we're upgraded to a suite l. We were also given a drink voucher for the Proof and Provision hotel bar. The bartender was fantastic and made some great drinks! Being right in the middle of downtown Savannah made our informal restaurant tour very easy and fun. We will definitely be back.

You have a wonderful property here, but there are a few areas that could significantly enhance the overall experience. The hotel could benefit from renovations, as the wear and tear are noticeable. Good morning g to the manager. We have never stayed as of sleeping at the hotel. Each time we visited, it was for business or training. We have enjoyed the atmosphere and food on those times. The hotel is beautiful and luxurious. But this time, it was for the Candlelight Hip Hop event. Maybe one day we will get the chance to stay a weekend, and then I can give you that review on the stay.

I've stayed here twice within half a month and still think it's a great choice. It's popular, has a nice ambiance, and it's super convenient to take a boat across the river to the old town. The marshmallow roasting, sauna, gym, and pool are all excellent!

The room is OK, but the front desk service is not very good. It's the first time I heard that late check-out costs $25 per hour. The gym is not open 24 hours and is far from the room. I don't particularly recommend this hotel.

The room in this hotel is very big, the bed is very comfortable, and the view from the room is also very good. It is very convenient to stay here with friends, and the room service is particularly good. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Breakfast was good.  Only complaint is one of the queen beds was noisy/squeaky when changing sleep positions.  We stayed just one night, and everything else was fine.

This place is a must. Well located in the historic district and conveniently located for all the must see sights. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Hotel was up to date and clean. Pretty nice hotel, small rooms and right by public restrooms so homeless around the entrance. Next time I’ll stay closer to the shops or on the riverfront since this one is closest to bars and cocktail lounges mainly.

The staff at the hotel were fantastic and prompt in their service. We appreciated the free snacks and beverages in the room and how they were restocked every day. The hotel is in a great location - so many stores and restaurants almost right outside the door. We didn't rent a car for the trip and never needed one.

Staff was great. Room was furthest removed as possible (not a huge deal) but was also old, a little deteriorated and really smelled bad.

What actually stood out was how genuinely nice everyone was! From the front desk, to managers we saw in the hallway, to the 3 bell men we talked to outside. Both days, the employees were very nice!

Property was nice but pretty odd. The shower was very unpleasant (water pooling in the bottom, can’t turn on without getting cold water sprayed on you) but the hotel itself was nice. Best place in Savannah to stay! Quiet, charming, historic, and a great location. The people who own and run it are amazing. It's a short walk to bay street and everything you want to see in Savannah. They have enormous bedrooms and common areas, and stock the kitchen with a few breakfast goodies for the guests. Stay once and you will fall in love.
