Love this hotel. Have stayed there many times. However, this time the room we were given really needed some TLC. Bathroom needed several items repaired. Baseboards, towel racks, tile floor…we will definitely stay here again just hope the room next time will be the standard we have been used to.

Room was average, behind soap bottles was very nasty you could tell had not been removed and cleaned, toilet lid was not cleaned well, trim on wall corner of the bathroom was rusting. Hotel looks well kept from the outside and lobby but the room disappointed our expectations. Also we booked a river front room and was given a room over looking the parking lot. No big deal there but not what we was expecting

Room was good, but it was a very long walk to get to. The hotel was not busy(at all)so they could have given us a closer room to the elevators. The room also had no water bottles. Staff was ok. They need to do a better job with keeping the hallways clean.

It is a very old property in a great location. The room did not have any toiletries like shower caps. The hair dryer was badly banged up. Still did the job. Not a dryer you would expect in a 4 star experience. The beds however were very comfortable.

Great location very nice and clean hotel. Five star customer service including a call from management to insure a minor issue was taken care of. Wouldn't have expected that from a large chain but it happened. We'll definitely be return customers for sure. Best possible place I could've stayed. I got here via a corporate conference. Staff was lovely and helpful throughout the event. The hotel is right by the river, easy to walk anywhere. Beds were a bit stiff for my pudgy body but clean and well kept. The lobby is a sight to behold and makes the whole thing feel special. Be sure to check out the garden terrace through the 4th floor. My 1st time staying at the Hyatt Regency in Savannah, Georgia was a wonderful experience! The hotel was perfectly located next to Riverfront and the Convention Center, which I was able to use the ferry to travel on. The view from the hotel was amazing, especially during the sun setting. The building is nice but everything else is just okay. The front desk isn’t very accommodating, laundry takes ages, they don’t reply to email messages and I couldn’t contact them through the Trip app or the Bonvoy app. I stayed at the loft room… the cleanliness can be improved. It’s only really that the building is interesting and there are very little choices in the area.

Valet parking isn't provided as a part of the guests stay. It is an extra charge. $50+ each interaction. Don't believe ******* if you purchase valet through them. You're going to pay the hotel for valet services.

The stay was fantastic.The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed!I will definitely be recommending it to my friends and family.

I've stayed here twice within half a month and still think it's a great choice. It's popular, has a nice ambiance, and it's super convenient to take a boat across the river to the old town. The marshmallow roasting, sauna, gym, and pool are all excellent!

The room is OK, but the front desk service is not very good. It's the first time I heard that late check-out costs $25 per hour. The gym is not open 24 hours and is far from the room. I don't particularly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel with a wonderful staff. We went for our 17th anniversary and we're upgraded to a suite l. We were also given a drink voucher for the Proof and Provision hotel bar. The bartender was fantastic and made some great drinks! Being right in the middle of downtown Savannah made our informal restaurant tour very easy and fun. We will definitely be back.

Great location, walking to anywhere. You do not need the $45 per day valet because large parking garage is block away from building. Nice food and drink inside, plus walking distance from restaurants and bars. Nice safe feeling area. Super small balcony.

You have a wonderful property here, but there are a few areas that could significantly enhance the overall experience. The hotel could benefit from renovations, as the wear and tear are noticeable. For example, our bathroom had a large crack in the tub, and the faucet was loose, giving the space a run-down feel. A fresh coat of paint and general upkeep would go a long way. Good morning g to the manager. We have never stayed as of sleeping at the hotel. Each time we visited, it was for business or training. We have enjoyed the atmosphere and food on those times. The hotel is beautiful and luxurious. But this time, it was for the Candlelight Hip Hop event. Maybe one day we will get the chance to stay a weekend, and then I can give you that review on the stay.

Breakfast was good.  Only complaint is one of the queen beds was noisy/squeaky when changing sleep positions.  We stayed just one night, and everything else was fine.

Staff was friendly upon entering. Room was comfortable and quiet. Easy to use public parking garage adjacent to the hotel for self parking. DIY smores kits available in the evening to use at the patio fire pit was a nice touch. Everything was walkable and easy to sight see on River Street a block away.

Room was super cute, property smelled amazing, parking was easy which is amazing for its downtown location. Bar was super fun, dinner was incredible - just a super fun impromptu stop on Christmas, can’t wait until next time!

Loved the warmth of the employees of the hotel. They were absolutely wonderful. Mais service did not come until after 5pm on day of our stay. Green light was blinking all night long facing our bed and disturbed my sleep. Other than those glitches, the stay was excellent and the restaurant food was excellent as well.

One of my all time favorite hotels! The staff was incredibly professional and friendly, the hotel itself was beautifully decorated and in the absolute best location for walking around Savannah. There was complimentary champagne, coffee and water and the rooftop bar was fabulous!

This last visit was probably my 5th time staying at this hotel. I rate it excellent in general but for this trip in particular, I was charged close to double the usual rates and I felt ripped off. Not only that, I thought parking was included and it turned out to be $55 extra plus tax. The room was great and the overnight stay was great but it was not worth $600+.

The room was very nice and spacious. The main problem was the hot water which just didn’t appear very often. Cold, cold and more cold, it would take a very long time to even get to lukewarm. A pretty standard experience in a great part of town. Hotel is dated a bit. The valet parking is a bit of a cluster as they’re unaffiliated with the hotel and you pay separate and it’s a small driveway. Rooms were standard, a bit dated. Location you cannot beat.

The Holiday Inn Express was very close to the river and I could walk to a lot of sites. The concierge was fantastic and very knowledgeable.

No option for free parking. The only entrance for checking in was for valet parking. $50 for one night pretty steep. Will probably look at other options next time.

Great hotel. The location was perfect. Walking distance to great restaurants and shopping and coffee. It wasn’t too far of a walk from Forsyth Park and the basilica if you are willing. I did like the location. I was able to walk to the grocery store and few eateries, which I enjoyed. I did NOT like how small the room and bathroom was compared to the cost of stay...will not be back.

Comfortable and Quiet Stay This hotel is conveniently located, comfortable (especially the mattress), and peaceful. We did not hear any outside or guest noise inside our room. The hotel could use a good cleaning, especially the carpets. The shower is an open concept and water splashes on the floor even if you try to avoid it. All in all, we were pleased with our stay.

When it comes to customer service. It’s get no better than Ms. Tonya! I enjoyed my stay and she made sure I was always taken care of from my fist night to my last. Definitely will be back.

The room was comfortable however there was constant activity and noise in the corridor. Most times the corridor seemed to be used to store the housekeeping supplies which wasn’t favorable to us as guests. The bathroom door did not have a lock which wasn’t ideal, and the shower and restroom doors though frosted were quite transparent and the restroom door did not have a lock either. The hotel was great! Our room was very nice and the staff was great.

Property was nice but pretty odd. The shower was very unpleasant (water pooling in the bottom, can’t turn on without getting cold water sprayed on you) but the hotel itself was nice. Area was fantastic, but probably won’t stay again. Felt like staying in a sultry pirate ship. The extremely dusty oyster chandelier above the bed will continue to haunt me.

This is my new "go to." Clean, comfortable rooms, breakfast, coffee and extremely pleasant and welcoming staff (especially Ms. Nicole and Ms. Grace). I will never go to a different hotel when I visit Savannah.
