We weren't even able to stay (so can't even rate my experience to be honest). Tried to get more information on the hotel itself, along with pricing, parking, etc. After waiting for an hour and a half for their "convenient" chat response... they simply answered, "No". Please do yourself a favour and hard pass these amateurs.
Best place in Savannah to stay! Quiet, charming, historic, and a great location. The people who own and run it are amazing. It's a short walk to bay street and everything you want to see in Savannah. They have enormous bedrooms and common areas, and stock the kitchen with a few breakfast goodies for the guests. Stay once and you will fall in love.
This is a great option for large groups. 16 of us stayed and it worked out really well. The seven 20-somethings all stayed in the basement area and they didn't seem to mind too much the only-one-bathroom situation. 8 of us paired up into rooms and one slept on the couch in the front room. It was for two nights and that was fine but I think longer than that it and it would be a little awkward. The outdoor space is a little small - only about 1/2 of us could fit out there at a time, and the kitchen is small for a larger group but it was clean and the beds were comfortable, and it's a great location.
My daughter have the wedding in this house. Big house very comfortable WITH enough restrooms on each level and clean .The house is in the middle of town you can walk everywhere from that point and see this historical City
Beautiful Place ,and very convenient to Everything! Perfect for bringing family together and has all the amenities of Home.
I won't write a whole lot but I will tell you this this is a definitely must a situation! beautiful hotel rooms in and out close to restaurants, shopping and other historic areas. I'll be back for sure.
Showed up here for travel and their was a person already locked in my bathroom. I called the number and their solution was having me “knock on the door and ask the persons name” inside because they didn’t know who was in there. I promptly cancelled my room and was charged a nights stay for about 5 minutes of confusion. Hard pass here.
The place is absolutely gorgeous, don't get me wrong. The owners did a beautiful job furnishing the place, and they were very, helpful. Our rooms were gorgeous, and for a reasonable price for the space. (2 bed suite).
The breakfast situation was a little disorganized and messy. I was hesitant to use anything in the fridge because I didn't know if it was for patrons in general or belonged to other patrons. The presentation could just be a bit neater. It didn't really match with the elegant style of the rest of the house.
The bathroom could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly for my taste, and the shower had almost no water pressure. I would highly recommend a new shower head or just seeing what the problem was there.
I would definitely visit again.
