Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Honolulu

I stayed for several days in a row, and I wouldn't really recommend it. We had a balcony room with a partial ocean view, and the sea was quite beautiful on a nice day. However, the biggest issue with this hotel is how incredibly noisy it is due to the constant flow of people. If your room isn't on a high enough floor, you'll be facing the third-floor pool downstairs, and in the afternoons, the hotel blasts very loud, high-energy music, which is incredibly disruptive. The hotel is located in the Waikiki area, but this specific part generally feels less safe than the core shopping center area where Waikiki Target is located. At night, there are strange homeless people walking the streets, some of whom smell quite bad. You'll also occasionally catch the smell of ********* wafting through the hotel lobby and hallways. The cleanliness is just okay; because the hotel is quite old, there are some mottled spots on the walls. The towels aren't as plush as those at Hytaa, and while housekeeping does come daily, it doesn't quite make up for the other issues.

This is my 4th time in Hawaii, and my 3rd stay at this hotel. Overall, the experience has been great. The only minor issue is the noticeable noise when doors open and close, but all in all, it's a very good hotel.

Location is good.
Rooms are clean. Wiew is very nice.
Swimmin pools are very small; not very affective.
Housekeepers very kind.
Luggage department very helpful.
Tour prices extemely high.

Our room had beautiful ocean view and diamond head view which was exactly as I booked. The room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable. Overall, we had a great stay.

The room was clean. The only things missing were toothbrushes, slippers, and Wi-Fi. From the room, you could see a partial view of Waikiki Beach, which was still very beautiful.

My room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a balcony where I could watch the sunrise over the ocean. Waking up to the sound of the waves every morning felt like pure bliss.

The resort’s amenities were outstanding. The pools were clean and inviting, the fitness center was modern and well-maintained, and the spa offered truly relaxing treatments. Dining on-site was a delight—the breakfast buffet was fresh and varied, and the beachfront restaurants made every meal feel like a special occasion.

What really stood out was the warm aloha spirit from the staff. Every team member I met was friendly, attentive, and eager to make my stay perfect.

This resort combines luxury, comfort, and the magic of Hawaii in the best possible way. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy this slice of paradise again!

This is a beautiful place to stay. I stayed in a large room. There are a lot of events offered to guests. I was very pleased with being here.

Sorry but it seens I have more negative than positive to say:

The fact that you charge such a huge deposit upon check in is ridiculous, especially since I can't charge anything like room service to the room! I've never seen a deposit like yours before! Plus the girl who checked me out said it would be refunded instantly...nope still haven't received it.

The hotel location is perfect and the ABC store is perfect too.

The bed, shower, and TV are great. The toilet is much too low.

The restaurant on the 3rd floor has a great view but both the food and service are meh.

Do not stalk me and ask me if I want my room cleaned. The sign on my door already answers this question.

The girl who checked me out was very unfriendly. The guys out front were the friendliest and most helpful both
