Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach in Honolulu

Two conditions gives this McDonald's only 1 star: 1.- Customers chit-chat loudly and management permit them to be disruptive. If you want a quite place to enjoy a meal 'this is not it.' 2.- Third World Countries female employees also shout and yell to communicate with each other, and they treat American customers as "I can do anything I want and you have no recourse."

They might have a happy hour but don't let it fool you, it's only for the 15 seats at the bar which are usually all taken and not for the rest of the restauarnt. Absolute con.

You just lost a table of 6, and we will not be returning.
Legit, don't bother saying you have a happy hour because you don't.

The wife and myself both got the signature cheeseburger and fries. The wait time was pretty good but our fries came out cold and a smaller portion than I was hoping for. My burger was great but my wife's was under cooked.

We love Italian food and wine, so that's why when we find it decided it's a must try restaurant!!!
But the experience we had was so so DISAPPOINTED....
1.OVERPRICED
$35 For a seafood pasta.
Pasta was not homemade, i guess it was from Barilla, but that's not all.
The dish was served dry, no oil, butter or garlic flavours.
The seafood was OVERCOOKED, the calamari was chewy, all over seafood ingredients was not juice, and thats because of cooking process.. so said (((
P.S. : you will never have this experience in a real italian restaurant, where the cooking process is strict, simple, quick and delightful.
2.SERVICE
I work in the same industry, and i understand very well what is going on, on a busy night.
But once i have customer i give him the best of i can do.
I felt rushed from server. ( i get it, it's busy, but give me 2 min for the questions which i got, and then you can continue your thing)
Thanks that the manager was helping arround over people and was able to ask gor some help him, he was so patient and gave us the needed help and answers.
When the server got our wine, he just throw it on table without saying at least:" hey, here is your wine"...
And so on...to many details to write it...
Honestly the star is just for the managers kindness and help, as well for the front host.

Where to start with this place? It's an insanely expensive diner with regular diner food. I do not get it's appeal at all! Went in one night, sat at the bar, and ordered soup, a grilled cheese sandwich and a drink and it cost me $25! There is nothing special about the atmosphere, the service, nor the food that would separate it from any other run of the mill diner. Their "claim to fame" is the MAC Daddy challenge - eat 5lbs of pancakes and you get your picture on a wall. If you aren't interested in that, save your time and your money and go somewhere else! I get it's Waikiki and they are charging a premium, but this is just a rip off.

The hostess was very nice, the restaurant was clean but besides that it was pretty much down hill. I was going to order a burger but decided not to when I was told they aren't made fresh. I changed to the pulled pork sandwich and my wife got the fish tacos. The Tacos looked nice when they came out but the fish was dry and hard so my wife only ate one of the three. My pulled pork sandwich wasn't much better, I ate most of it but it had no flavor and was fatty.

Came for karaoke and sat at the bar. The bartender has acted like me being here (along with the other 6 people at the bar) have been a total inconvience. She has been rude, short and even just flat out ignored people. Sadly she is the better of the 2 bartenders on duty as the other young lady has not even acknowledged there are people at the bar
