We loved this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and it is in a great location. Very close to Bourbon and Canal, but far enough that there is no noise or trash outside the hotel. The soap/lotion smelled amazing. Check in/check out was quick and everyone was very friendly. The lobby was beautiful and required a room key to enter which I appreciated when returning after dark. Overall, very pleasant stay and would return.

My stay at The Roosevelt was truly exceptional. The level of service throughout the hotel—from the restaurant to the spa and the housekeeping team—was nothing short of outstanding. Every detail was handled with care, and the staff’s warmth and professionalism made the experience feel effortlessly luxurious. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and impeccably maintained, creating an atmosphere of elegance and comfort. A truly five-star experience that I would happily recommend and look forward to enjoying again.

Breakfast: In room dining. Eggs way over cooked. English muffin was raw out of the bag. Sausage was ok. No fresh squeezed juice!!!!!! Only Tropicana and it says fresh juice on the menu. The worst in room dining breakfast ever.

Lunch: In room dining. Cesar salad with chicken was good but so small! The chicken tenders were OK but they forgot to bring the honey mustard sauce.

They automatically add 20% tip. I would say that is OK to do if everything is perfect, which it is not. Not even close. They do not deserve any tip, especially tipping themselves automatically.

I will never come back here again. Not worth the money. This place is a disgrace to the name Waldorf Astoria.

The rooms are so depressing. dated and dirty. Change the carpets, curtains and wallpaper. Maybe some artwork and some flowers in the room.

No food service at the pool.

Natalie the server for my room is excellent. She deserves a raise.

So I had a wedding this past weekend 2/28 to be exact, I was in the groom. We had our rooms for 2/27-2/28… This place and its staff set my entire wedding experience up to be beautiful! The champagne in the room, the strawberries, the extra towels, I can go on and on….. Marsha, Ernie, Randy, and the entire valet team I can’t think you guys enough for how you treated our groomsmen and bridesmaids the entire weekend… This place is beautiful in itself but the people make the experience 100x better… The Wilson Wedding had a top tier experience. We love The Roosevelt Team❤️

I had the pleasure of staying at the Roosevelt this past weekend with my bridal party. The entire experience was a 10/10. From the valet and bellmen, to the front desk staff and housekeeping- EVERYONE was warm, welcoming and extremely professional. Not to mention, they all provided me with kind and encouraging words on the day of my wedding. The location was perfect, the rooms were spotless and the service was impeccable! Sending a special shout out to Marsha, she is the BEST and a huge reason why we can’t wait to visit again!! Thank you so much!!!

A very nice hotel. Beautiful lobby, but the rooms are very noisy.

We loved our stay at the Waldorf Astoria in New Orleans! It is a stunning hotel, very rustic and classy, but also unkept very well. Rooms here were very comfortable as well. We were on the floor and enjoyed having a view of a portion of Canal St. We also liked the tasteful and timeless sort of decor of the rooms which gave the experience a sense of elegance and luxury which really added to the special time we were able to have during our Labor Day trip to NOLA.

Everything was great, the service and the amenities is great.

The Hotel is beautiful the restraints were a complex JOKE, the food was horrible, extremely overcharged for terrible tasting food. We couldn’t be more disappointed in a Hight Class Hotel having such low class restraints affiliated on there premises. We will never book a reservation with you again. Shame on you!!! BOOO,

Great place to eat, the service was quick and excellent. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and took care of us. I gave them 4 stars because I thought the fish was bland. I am so used to eating seasoned fish. However, it was really fresh and I loved the shrimp. Would highly recommend!!!

I had their blackened grouper that came with steamed vegetables. The grouper had great flavor and it was well-seasoned. The fish itself was flaky yet moist and had good texture. The steamed vegetables did not have a lot of flavor. I was kind of surprised. Even so, the dinner was delicious and not too expensive.

The location of the restaurant is on an active, busy, well-traffic corner. You want to be mindful and aware when visiting, especially at night.

It is a nice restaurant with good food. All seafood as oysters prepared with enormous amount of butter ( no wonder it tastes so good) and a lot of deep fried dishes. The barbecue oysters with homemade BBQ sauce was delicious.
The service was too fast. Our waitress was in such a hurry like she was missing last streetcar in the middle of the night.
This place is just ok. It is locking that special New Orleans atmosphere some restaurants have.

We were a huge group that visited them during a weekday evening. They were pretty packed. I did like the one in Metairie more than the one here, but I still loved their platter. It was almost as good as the other one. Otherwise a lovely place to be. Their location is pretty spot on. The staff was pleasant, and their wait times wasn't crazy.

Overall, loved it.

Called to ask for reservation. Was rudely told by whoever answered the phone, absolutely not followed by a click. Used to go there religiously and even recommended to my friends. After reading some of the reviews for both locations, I think I would like to keep my friends as friends and pass. Can't understand why the attitude with staff and management. Don't the owners ever read the comments? Plenty of great restaurants in NO to choose from. Its a shame. maybe its time for a nice unannounced health department inspection. (See comments from other location). Tip for anyone contemplating eating at any restaurant. before getting a seat, check out the bathroom. If its filthy, I guarantee you so is their kitchen.
