Add to this the fact that the place is looking old and tired; the reception staff were not particularly welcoming and the strange decision to remove the mini fridge from the room, and the hotel has lost its charm and appeal.
The location of the hotel is ideal, and for it being located in NYC it is relatively quiet, so that you can get a good nights rest.
I would definitely stay here again.
