Great location! We walked around the city all weekend and didn't mind the 20-30 min. walk to all the popular attractions - Grand Central Station, Rockefeller Center, Radio City, Times Square, Central Park, etc. - they were just a quick jaunt over to and up 5th Avenue. The rooms were smaller compared to hotels in any other city, but in New York City terms they were great. We had 4 ladies in a room with 2 full beds and we were able to get around each other no problem. Bathroom was actually way bigger than I anticipated. City noises - honking horns, sirens, etc. - could barely be heard from the room. Staff were wonderful, greeted us upon check in with waters and a glass of champagne. There was always someone in the lobby keeping watch as we were coming and going. Made me feel safe as a woman traveler in NYC. Upon settling into our room there were a few housekeeping items missing, but one call to the front desk and staff brought them right up.
Great service, great location, comfortable beds what more could you ask for in a NYC hotel.

We loved staying at Hotel Park Ave. Checking in we were greeted with a glass of champagne and the staff took excellent care of us throughout our stay. Our studio king room was spacious for NYC, well decorated and very comfortable. There are some excellent food and drink options in the immediate surrounding blocks for a quick bite and it's a great location to explore Manhattan from. We will come back here on our next trip.

Stayed here about two weeks ago. After a long day of delayed and canceled flights we finally made it to our hotel. We were welcomed in by Allen the star of the night !!! His customer service was excellent and definitely turned my frown upside down. We were out in new york for my mom’s birthday and allen made sure we were well situated which i appreciate. Our room was super nice my mom could not stop recording. I would definitely recommend staying here.

What a lovely little hotel situated right between three subway stations and countless local restaurants with delicious food and fun vibes. The staff was top notch, always with a smile and ready to assist with questions or convenience and I would definitely love to stay here in the future! They have a restaurant on site that I did not try, but it looked quite nice and stayed moderately busy. They also have a rooftop deck, but it was being renovated during my stay. The elevators were quick and the rooms included a mini fridge (very small, so don't expect to fit togo food in here in big boxes), bathrobes and a little table for two. My room had a nice peek out at Park Avenue. Grand Central is just down the street a few blocks. I was able to check in upon arriving at 1 pm with no problems ...AND, they handed me a glass of champagne. =D

I was expecting a more upscale amenity filled hotel. For what I paid and description given, this hotel does not live up to it. We arrived from the airport and there was no one to help with our bags (website says bell service). The front door was being blocked and a small crowd of people loitering in front from the private party in the restaurant next door. There is no traditional front desk, instead, there is a large round table with monitors for self check-in…very disappointing. There was staff to assist, however, I was expecting an upscale check-in experience with more staff interaction. We then had to make the trek to our room with all our bags and not even a luggage cart to make it a little easier. Got to our floor, and it was an icebox. The hallway had such a draft, and the 25 degree weather was flowing freely all throughout. Room is really small. Bed occupies 75% of it. Not a lot of space to store clothes or stow our luggage. Too small to have any chairs/desk and only one small nightstand. Shower is very spacious and nice dual rain shower head. For the room with a balcony, and the view is spectacular. They obviously use the balcony in the square footage of the room. We have every corner of the room occupied with luggage and other personal belongings. TV is large and king size bed is comfortable. Refrigerator only hollds 3-4 beverages and in a very awkward space. I booked our room and it included breakfast, however, at checkin I was told that was not the case and that was from a promotion they had when they provided breakfast from a 3rd party restaurant. There was no notification on my reservation and I had to prove to the staff I in fact was supposed to receive a complimentary breakfast for two. Fortunately, I screenshotted my reservation when booked and we were provided a $10 credit each daily. That gets us each a fresh orange juice each. Needless to say, we were very dissatisfied and disappointed with the hotel, a stay in which we paid $3,000 for a special week in NYC.

The Mondrian undoubtedly provides a great experience, with some qualifications. Like all NYC hotels, the rooms here are very small. You just have to make the choice between a small room with fantastic aesthetic qualities, or with basic amenities. There's no coffee machine. No extra blanket for the freezing weather. No ironing board. The heater is unreliable. But the art is really pretty. Is that worth it? Service is certainly incredible-- everyone at the front desk took great care to remember the names of guests. Great communication and concern about us. I just missed the basic things a room should have. And also, the bathroom door didn't close, so there's that. I would stay here if you're fine forgoing the average creature comforts. Personally, I expected those comforts to be there, but upgraded.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 days and it was the awesome experience ever. Rooms are clean, very modern, and beautiful. Beds are extremely comfortable and pillows are fabulous. The valet kept the car in the front for 2 hours since my husband was trying to figure out if we were still going out or will be parking for the night. Room service took cafe of our room at 6 pm (we slept in really late one day) even if we didn't ask. Engineering took care of the heat and tv and helped us figure it out. They even gave me an umbrella at the front desk when I was leaving and it was raining.
Fabulous place. I will definitely be back!

Check-in
- we were dropped off by our cab at the curb and were immediately attended to by their very warm front desk staff. Eric & Michael really went out of their way to make us feel at home (even if we arrived past midnight).
- ‎I think Eric noticed we had a lot of luggage and graciously gave us a complimentary upgrade.

Room
- the room is a bit smaller than we're used to, but it's laid out very well. We managed to fit all our stuff in their many storage areas.
- ‎the bathroom is very spacious and the floor tiles are amazing, they managed to stay warm despite the cold weather outside. The shower is interesting and has 2 shower heads.
- ‎the bed is comfortable and we slept very well.

Service
- This is what sets the Mondrian Park apart. The entire staff was very friendly and extremely accommodating to our every request.
- ‎There was a minor issue with the elevators once night and they even let us use the service elevator.
- whenever we would call to request, they would deliver fresh brewed coffee to our room every morning
- ‎my daughter loved the warm greetings whenever we would leave and enter the building

Food
- we had breakfast at Cleo, their lobby restaurant, on our last day. The food was delicious. Specially the sausage.

Overall, a great stay. Made even better by the exceptional service. Keep it up!

Great overnight stay at this centrally located hotel. Very friendly and welcoming check in experience. Room decor felt modern and inviting and had all the expected amenities. The size of the room was a little tight but I expect this is probably the case for all mid-range Manhattan hotels. Would definitely stay again.

This place is delightful. A boutique converted office building, it has modern European upscale charm. The service is INCREDIBLE, from check-in, to the complimentary house car, to the awareness of the type of guest they are serving. The location was perfect, central without being in an overly touristy location, we really felt like we were in a local neighbourhood. Next time we would normally stay in a different neighbourhood of NYC, but we would definitely want to return to the mondrian.

Excellent place to eat!! One of the best barbecue spots around and the atmosphere is also very pleasant. We ordered the Pork shoulder, brisket, mac and cheese, pork and beans. So delicious and the barbecue chips were to die for!

No question a bit commercialized but this is new York. I don't think anyone would leave unhappy and many will be delighted. It's not Hill Country but its commercial. You won't get great brisket, that's all. For that you simply must go to Hill Country

Our family from Utah recommended this place. So thankful we took up their recommendation. EVERYTHING was good. Brisket, Mac & Cheese, salads, cornbread, Season cheesecake was crazy good. You must come. It's life changing.

I used to frequent this place often for lunch as it was close to my office and my coworkers were big fans. For lunch, I've gotten the crispy chicken or the beef brisket sandwich. To be honest, I didn't think the sandwiches were that great. Both the chicken and beef brisket were dry and they weren't flavorful. I've also tried their beef brisket entree for dinner which I think tastes better than the sandwich. But overall I think this BBQ place is just alright. It's a bit overrated for what it is.

We visited this place on our second and last night in NYC as our apartment was across the road. It did not disappoint. Great service from all the staff! And the food was to perfection! Very impressed

Came here for trivia night, and boy they did not disappoint! The atmosphere was light and fun, and the beer selection for happy hour was decent, as was their White Russian (yes, you can order standard drinks off the menu if they have everything they need). Didn't try their food as we came after dinner, but would definitely come again for another roundof trivia!

Average sports bar that advertises $5 Rose and has cheap happy hour deals. I had order an Old Fashioned and it was very bad, and my whiskey ginger ale was pretty standard. Probably won't return again as the cocktail seen in the area is very competitive.

The Bottomless Supper option is genius. Entree and several hours of bottomless drinks monday - Thursday. FABULOUS.
