Hotel Alameda Highline in New York

The room looked nothing like the pictures, & was was neglected due to the fact of the lack of dusting on shelves. Took hours for the room to heat up. The staff was cool.
This was not the pleasurable experience I was looking for & will never come back here.

I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with my stay. I went to check out of hotel and I was on 7th floor. The fire alarm went off briefly in my room. I leave my room to check out and the elevators were not working. I waited over 10 minutes and then called front desk. I explained and the woman hung up or disconnected me. I called back and another woman said they were testing systems. She said they woukd get elevator working...I waited another 10-15 minutes at elevator and still not working. I am 60 years old and I had to carry all of my luggage down 7 stories. When I got to the street level door it woukd not open. I then had to go down to the basement and walked around to find someone to help me. I finally found someone who let me out at street level.
I had to re-enter front door of hotel to check out...I was so angry and all I got was an "I am sorry "
I will never stay there again. I will put this review on all of the travel sites too.
Also, very few channels on TV worked and the thermostat did not work...and the wall to room next door sounds like it is paper thin.
Also, I tried for 2 nights to redeem my "free cocktail" voucher and the bartender never approached me...i was the only one sitting at bar. After 20 minutes i left. On the 3rd night, i was able to redeem it but still had to wait 15 minutes and I was the only one sitting there.
