Reviews
Pros: the staff is very, very nice. Friendly, eager to help and attentive. Location is excellent. Appreciate the all day coffee.
Cons: the hotel is raggedy and rundown. Gross hallway carpet; peeling fabric on the walls; just an overall dark and dingy place. The elevator doors took 3-4 tries before closing; and pretty sure the air-conditioning was not working in the lobby.
We won't be back.
They are so sweet and the room is clean
Great location, incredible service, and lovely rooms. I visit NYC often, and this is my new favorite hotel. I’ll definitely be back!
1. Let's talk about the facilities first. The sound insulation is poor. It is newly renovated and it is indeed quite new. The heating temperature is also enough, but the heating sound is very loud, rumbling, and you can only turn on the minimum wind speed to get better. The sound insulation is very poor. People talking in the corridor or next door can be clearly heard.
2. The geographical location is near Times Square. There is a subway for a few minutes, but not all routes have it, which is not very convenient.
3. The room is equipped with only bath towels, disposable and easily broken paper cups for brushing teeth, ice buckets, refrigerators, and hair dryers. That's it. There is no kettle, tea bags or tableware. There is a water cooler and ice cubes in the corridor.
4. The most outrageous breakfast!!! I saw that this hotel has a good location, new decoration, and breakfast included, so I booked it. As a result, do you know what the breakfast is? It's called breakfast, but in reality there's no restaurant, just a mini coffee corner. Moreover, the breakfast limit is $15, and you need to pay if you exceed $15. There are only coffee, croissants, yogurt, cola, and apples.
A large cup of coffee is $9, and you have $6 left, a croissant is $4, and then it's $15 with taxes. Figure 1.
The bread was cold, and I couldn't eat it after a few days, and I was worried that the hotel would charge me more, so I didn't eat it in the end. As a result, when I checked out, I was charged $9.5 more on the bill for one day. That day, their machine was broken, and they said they would enter the account later, and naturally they didn't send me the bill in the end. Sure enough, they still charged me more when I checked out. I was in a hurry to check out and didn't look carefully. After I found it, I sent it to Ctrip to help collect it. It's outrageous. I've had bad breakfasts before, and this is the first time I've encountered a limit, which is very funny. The room rate is not cheap and it's so deceptive.
