We stayed here for a long girls weekend. from the moment we walked in, we LOVED it. The staff was so friendly and kind. Notably, Brian, was incredible. He was so attentive and always provided a warm welcome.

I had asked ahead of time for a small gift for my mom and sister, and just asked for a cookie and a card to celebrate them. I was so surprised they sent a small gift for them both + card! They also gave us a free piece of cheesecake at the spyglass for a birthday. The views are great from the rooftop or one of the empire view rooms.

The rooms are clean and cozy. Excellent location in midtown. Walkable everywhere or a 20min cab ride downtown or further out.

Would absolutely stay here again!

Just finished a fantastic stay at Archer Hotel New York and it's easily one of my favorite Midtown spots — full 5 stars from me!
The location is unbeatable (5 stars): at 45 W 38th St (between 5th and 6th Aves), you're right in the Garment District heart — steps from Bryant Park, a quick walk to the Empire State Building, Times Square, 5th Avenue shopping, Herald Square, and major subways (B/D/F/M, 7, etc. nearby). Perfect central base for exploring without constant transit hassles, and the area has great dining and energy.

I can’t say enough great things about this hotel. From the moment we arrived, every staff member was incredibly kind and welcoming. The customer service was exceptional throughout our entire stay. The location is perfect… close to everything NYC has to offer. We had the most wonderful Christmas here. The hotel is charming, reasonably priced, and the thoughtful little amenities made our stay even more special. I would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great stay at The Archer. The customer service really stood out - everyone was friendly and welcoming, especially Joseph at the concierge desk. During check-in, we mentioned to him that we were celebrating expecting our first child in a few weeks, and they surprised us with a thoughtful treat bag wishing us well, filled with salted caramel candy and assorted snacks. It was such a sweet and unexpected touch.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the lobby was really nice too - stylish but relaxed. Located in a great area right near Bryant Park. Overall, we felt well taken care of and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is clean. The rooms are nice. The entry is well thought out.

What really makes this one of the best hotels that I have stayed at out of the 237 that I have been in over the last 10 years or so is the staff.

Everyone, including the cleaning staff, understand how to deliver a five-star experience. The bellmen were incredibly accommodating when we needed to move a large number of boxes from our room.

I asked the cleaning staff for a pod for the coffee machine. They brought that and replaced the cups, which I didn’t request. It’s just how they do it there.

Finally, the front desk people were incredibly kind and very nice throughout my stay.

Honestly, if you are a solo traveler or a couple, it is a great spot. I wouldn’t bring children, because the rooms are small, but for a Romantic getaway or a business trip, you’re close enough to everything, but not in the middle of it. I didn’t hear the usual sirens and noise that I have in other places.

I highly recommend this hotel as a breath of fresh air. It really felt more like an old school high-end NY hotel experience.

Incredibly pleasant.

I loved the location. Everything was walking distance. The staff members were nice and welcoming. The rooms were clean, and bed/pillows were super comfortable. I seriously felt like I was in a mini apartment, and not so much a hotel room. Definitely gives you that NY experience. I also liked that every night "Archer" would leave you a card and a tasty little treat from local candy stores or bakeries. When it rains they leave umbrellas out for their guests to borrow, and thought it was an awesome gesture.

"Intimate rooms" = small rooms. But they are comfortable and well appointed. Comfy bed and a nice bathroom. What more do you need in NYC? You don't come to this city to stay in your room!

Very clean, updated room with an amazing bathroom. All staff members were extremely accommodating. Easy check in and check out. Spyglass is also a plus. Great location, walking distance to just about everything. I will definitely be staying here again.

מלון מצויין. מפנק, שירות טוב מאוד. מיקום מעולה.

Been there 3 nights with friends.
A very good service from all of the stuff.
Nicely designed rooms, cleen and very convenient.
Top roof pub with a very nice view.
Little bottles of water are given for free, when ever you ask for.
You can Also get free umbrellas when it's rain.
Hotel location is Excellent. Close to metro and to all major city major attractions, by foot.
I definitely will come back on my next one in NYC

Great hotel, located in mid town and ideally placed for getting around. They also have a rooftop bar with a gorgeous view of the Empire State Building-however you will pay the price with the drinks menu. Lovely rooms, although small, well cleaned and equipped and a good restaurant downstairs should you not want to venture far. No gym in the hotel, however its only a block away which is complimentary with your stay should you want to work out. Like all Hotels in NY, you wont exactly get a beautiful view out the window (more like office next door). I stay here a lot for work as its close to my offices, I prob wouldn't pay the price if I was coming for pleasure though.

I had brunch here early December. There was no way I can reserve a seat through opentable (indicated there was no availability) so we were there around 11ish. There was maybe 2 people before us waiting to be seated once the place opened. They seated us right next to the Christmas tree - what a treat! Brunch was good - I really enjoyed their assortment of pastries. My glass of rose had something floating in it so they got me a new glass. It was overall a good experience.

Accommodated our request for a table in Garden (for 8 people). The table change was seamless.....food great tasting... served timely... Portions adequate .... Service was white table cloth and linen napkins.... Water and drink refills were serviced without fuss. This was a family celebration dinner, and it could not have been nicer.... Another family member suggested we go to this restaurant and we were glad they did.... We will be back!
We had chicken, pork, fish and steak frites dishes, no complaints.... from anyone!

Amazing place. It was an honor and a privilege being here for our annual Holiday Party with my coworkers. This place for this year’s holiday party was a perfect choice. There’s a large area to dance. The staff is friendly. Food was tasty & delicious. Near to public transportation.

Came here for birthday dinner evening before the parade. Wasn't expecting much as chose for location but was pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent and was super kid friendly. Will return. Thanks for making my evening special

It's one of those iconic places located in and near other iconic landmarks with it being situated in Bryant Park and right behind the famous New York Public Library. I wanted to try this establishment since it is iconic but I just never got a chance to until until I had a work lunch. Lunch is usually really packed so be sure to make reservations or get there early.

We sat on the rooftop with a nice view of Bryant Park and buildings overwhelming us from above. We ordered a bunch of salads and sandwiches for lunch. The food was standard- the salads were good and sandwiches nicely made. I think you could easily opted for a more economical version at the Wichcraft in Bryant Park, but for the view and atmosphere, Bryant Park Grill is nice.
