Descent hotel at a reasonable price, will stay again.

- only thing I didn't like was that I had to call to let them know my 100 dollar safety deposit or whatever wasn't sent back a day after I had already left. I didn't even get to sleep there I stayed for so short lol but other than that 5 stars ✨️ would reccomend

+ Was pretty clean and a comfy area. not much noise for me at least as I was put downstairs which I didn't mind. Our stay was excellent from start to finish. The place was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made our experience truly enjoyable. The attention to detail and overall comfort really stood out.
We would especially like to highlight the hosts, Carlos and Lázaro, who provided outstanding service. They were attentive, friendly, and always willing to help, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay.
Highly recommended. We would definitely stay here again.

I visited NYC for the first time in December 2025. I stayed a couple of nights at the Hotel Richland and I was very happy with the experience. Very nice people at the front desk, one who even remembered my name each time I passed by. The rooms were clean and the location to local NY style pizza places. I will definitely be back.

Honestly one of the better hotels I’ve stayed at downtown for the price. Rooms are quiet, comfy and decent amount of space for downtown. Also Brian at the front desk was super helpful and accommodating. Would 100 stay here again

This was a nice spot for the weekend. It’s close to the metro station, there’s a lot of restaurants and bars nearby. I walked alone at night and I felt safe. The room was a bit small but it is NYC. The staff was super helpful and brought an iron and mini fridge upon request. They left complimentary snacks & waters in the room and had coffee downstairs.

Clean hotel with a very convenient location near Chinatown, making it easy to grab breakfast from nearby bakeries. The staff were helpful and arranged a fridge for our room upon request.
The room itself was a little small for the price, and the area does have a lot of homeless people, which some travelers may find uncomfortable.

Basement room nice but
It's a nice, clean hotel, staff is friendly. We did have the room in the basement it can be quiet at night. The staff in the morning gathers around the ice machine there which can wake you up. The night we stayed the Internet went out so we didn't have the best time with no TV and barely cellular service in the basement. Front desk was only able to refund the service fee butwe appreciate at least that.

I'm not really sure of what happened to this place. It used to have really good food. The service was never great but understandable due to the popularity of the restaurant.

The food was amazing. The waitress made us wait too long for the bottle of wine and never brought us a fork we asked for. Overall was nice atmosphere.

The maps tofu is the stuff of legends. I think my dad would be a better advocate so I will share his words. “One of the top three Chinese restaurants I have been to.” He is almost 60 and has been to China numerous times. Although this lofty praise might backfire because it might seem too high, I can add that between the maps, the wintermelon soup(I believe I have that right but I might be wrong...), and the fried rice were all reminiscent of a Chinese-American dining experience that for once leans towards the Chinese palate instead of trying to reckon with the tame taste buds of Americans. And for this, the place truly earns its stars.

Wow...i was definitely impressed. I was expecting mediocre food for high prices but I was wrong. We ordered the pork dumplings and crispy tempura green beans for appetizers then honey chicken and sesame chicken and it was all delicious and good portion sizes. I will definitely be coming back for more...

My wife and I have known about this place for some time, and we finally made it one night on a whim. We were really blown away. The food was absolutely fantastic, service was great, and the aesthetic of the space was very cool. The food is all meant for sharing and I think they call it small plate, but the portions are really generous. We had the green tea noodles which were incredible and then the family size roasted pork belly which was one of the best things I've eaten in a long time. The pork liver pate that comes with it is incredible. One thing I was confused about is that it calls this dish spicy on the menu, but it was not spicy at all. The waitress said that the spice was in the condiments that came with it, but even those were pretty mild. However, it didn't matter because it was so good.
Again, beyond the food the service was very good. They let us delay our reservation for about 45 minutes while we were having a drink at an even in the room downstairs, and even though we had a lot of questions and requests and were probably a little annoying, the waitress was super patient and nice. We can't wait to come eat here again!
