Four Points by Sheraton Midtown - Times Square in New York

Overall, great experience. Came for leisure and this trip did not disappoint. The cost of the hotel was very affordable, and the location was very convenient, being near Times Square, the subway and the Port Authority Station. For my experience, the workers were kind and helpful. We rarely interacted with them, but when we needed something or had a question they were there to help us out. I booked a king size bedroom and being that we are in the city, the size of the room was enough. There was walking space, and plenty of space to leave your luggage. There was a tub in the bathroom; however, there wasn't enough shelf space for toiletries (but for me I was ok with that).
The breakfast was also very delicious and affordable, valued at about 22 dollars/person. During my stay, I only saw one homeless guy hanging across the street, but he left after a few minutes; therefore, they weren't ever a problem in relation to the hotel! For me, coming from a household with similar AC units as this hotel, the automatic (on and off) AC features didn't bother me at all, as they do produce a low fan like humming or blowing sound.
The maid comes everyday to clean the room. I've never met our maid face to face, and so far from what I'm aware of, I still have all of my items with me(didn't steal) and the room was cleaned. For my stay, the only issue I had was that the maid didn't replace the dirty towels that we used with clean ones. (Such that we used both of the wash cloths, and didn't get any fresh ones, so we had to ask for some more everytime.) Another thing that might effect you with the windows, is that there is only one sheet of glass and not two sheets. Meaning that the sounds from outside carry on inside of the room. Everyday and night you can hear the cars passing by, and the chaos from the people outside, but im not complaining heavily about that, as we know it, this is a city that never sleeps lol. Another thing that some of you all may take into account, are the strong fragrances that are strayed throughout the hotel. If you are someone with allergies like finding it difficult to breathe when you come across strong, heavy smells like smoke, keep this in mind. However!!! Like already stated when I said that their customer service was pretty good for us, if the fragrances are too much for you, in particular...in your room, then you can simply tell the front desk workers to notify the cleaner to not spray anything in your room while cleaning) .
The elevators. There isn't really much to complain about. With a little bit of patience, they most definitely get the job done. There are 3 elevators that cover all 32-34 floors that operate pretty fast, in terms of travelling from ground floor to whatever floor you are on. Furthermore, there are times when you could be waiting for the elevators for a few minutes. I think the most I waited was about 2-4 minutes, but that was because I was calling for the elevator from the floor below ground level, but other than that the wait was about a minute.
